So I had bought the USB wifi thing for my internet originally, and it was pretty awesome, but it broke a few months after I bought it.
Then I got the converter to plug my modem straight into my wii, and now it keeps disconnecting me halfway through races on Mario Kart, ultimately depleting my rank from 9000 to 6500.
I'm starting to get discouraged.

Also, there are two variant error screens : one that says I was disconnected; and one that says error and advises I eject my game and restart my wii.

Yeah there was a thread a while ago about people's USB wi-fi connector breaking. Still have warrenty? If not you should probably just get a router they work much better
also

you could always copy the error code and go to nintendo's support site.

I went trough so many Wi-Fi USB Adapters until I got sick of them. So I returned the USB thing and for the exact same price, not a penny less or more, I got a router. It works perfectly now. I never have any problems.
