when i decorated the meditation hall i have been having alot of trouble trying to find a decent object to represent/replace the image of the buddha. At Still Point, which is what based the hall's design from they have wood carved buddha, right now all i have is a tea kettle, i saw Padmavati's lotus and the light went off.... but it's just too expensive. xp

Edit: i almost forgot to congratulate you DiSH, AWESOME JOB!!! im loving the library a lot.

Gosh it’s been a month since I've been on Gaia last and I can't believe how long it’s been since I've heard from you. I thought you stopped playing Gaia then I realized that this was your other account. Good grief I just realised that I didn't even put your name under who funded and designed the meditation hall and garden. Did you want me to put your name under this account or the other one? It's awesome to hear from you again and I'm glad you love the library! ^_^

BTW. I LOVE the fact that you used Padmavati's Lotus as the focal point in the Meditation Hall!

yeah if you want you can put this SN up there if you want... or lakshanas, i just dont use lakshanas anymore... i didnt see a reason as to why i needed a mule in order to have the monastery, or whatever else i did with the mule that i didn't with this one. ^_^

Yay now it really is the "lotus temple"!!! ^_^

You know, the meditation hall should be the main room in the temple. Not only because it is the largest room, but be cause it holds the most significants, plus it was the first room created in for the Lotus Temple. Why not revamp it a bit? I've got more than enough funds for any items and I even came up with a floor plan. Its basically your current design and layout, but I just replaced a few items. Let me know what you think, or if you would substitute an item with another one. BTW, I also left the walls and floor blank cause I couldn't deside on what to use. Maybe you have an idea, or you could just keep the current one. Also, I don't know if that will be enough light for the room, I just copied and pasted a bunch of images together in paint. lol

Behind the lotus on the table are a couple of the relaxation candles. I thought it would make the table look more like a shrine.

yeah i love the lay out. the cushion in front of the icon is great.

i like the table a lot too, basically though everything that is in the temple as you have it presented in the first page is all i have along the lines of house decorations. so if you are still interested in getting that golden table and the candles and maybe a few more of the paper windows ill put them up and reorganize things. ^_^ ill donate to the purchase of those things too. let me know how much it costs.

Don't worry about having to donate money towards the items. ^_^ I've already bought the items and they are on your way. The candles are actually just the stress relief candles for your avatar, they aren't actually house items.

Anyways I've also updated the look of the first post. I've given it a more zen modern look, though I was torn between a traditional ornate design as well. Whats your oppinion on which design would look best?

I'm glad to have you back as my partner in crime. lol ^_^
