"I should be over her as well, but I can't let it go. It's tough to let go of someone or something you care about. I'll get over it eventually though, I always do..." Silvanus drifted off into though, pausing for a few seconds. "One day though, someone will come along, and we'll be able to be together..." He smiled at the thought. "Why do feelings exist? Wouldn't we be better without them? I mean, they make us think too much, and usually all we get to feel is pain and misery, so why bother with emotion?"

"I think at one point we might have been human...and when we turned into demons....we still keep some emotions." She curled her knees under her chin with a sigh. She couldn't tell weither she liked having emotions or not. It was hard to tell if it was a bad thing. Odyne rested her head on her knees as she looked over at Silvanus. "We could change the subject at hand if you like?"

Medb carelessly waltzed into the forest with no regard for anyone else that happened to be there. She wasn't bothering them or anything but she wasn't really paying them any mind either. It appeared she was simply taking a stroll through the forest and looking at all that happened to be there. She would have been else where adventuring but the stupid battle was taking up a whole bunch of space in which for her to navigate so she decided to come back to this realm where the humans were not in her way or any battles of any sort.

"Uh...sure. Let's change the subject..." He glanced over at the female who was walking around. He then turned his attention back to Odyne. "Read any good books lately? I like books. They're filled with knowledge, and knowledge is power." He smiled. "A lot of people don't think that anymore though. To them, money is power, and so is strength. No one wants to pick up a book and read about the world."

Medb hadn't been eavsdropping at first but when he asked the girl if she'd read any books lately it caused her to completely lose it and she burst out into laughter. Sure, books were knowledgeable but did he really have to be that corny about it? She continued to laugh as she trailed toward him, swaying back and fourth appearing as if she were drunk though she was only drunk with laughter if anything at all. "Wow," was the first thing that came from her near breathless form, "books are awesome but you really didn't have to over-emphasize that." She began snickering again.

Silvanus looked up at Medb. "As a previous librarian, books are very important to me. I tend to over emphasize the importance of them because they hold important information that can help people with whatever the hell they're doing." Silvanus remained cool and collected, even though Medb was kind of on his nerves...already. It didn't take long, that's for sure.

Odyne replied his question lightly. "Yes, reading is a hobby of mine. When you have alot of time like me, you tend to pick one up quite a bit." She looked over at the other green person who arrived in questioning. Only this persons color had a bit more yellow to it than Sylvanus' did......That much be the humour. She hadn't seen yellow for a while. "I don't really think it was over-emphasized. If your passionate about books I guess it seems normal." She shrugged her shoulders a little bit in thought.
((Odyne sees with colors more often than not. Peoples personalities,moods, whichever. If you didn't know that, the it might help.))

"Ah," Medb responded completely coherently as though she were a completely different person, "I understand your love for books then. My apologies for the mocking laughter, I simply mistook you for one of those fellows who are out to impress women by lying through their teeth and pretending that they are something which they are not, never have been and probably never will be. My mistake, dear Librarian." She bowed as humbly as it was possible for Medb to bow and then looked up to him with a slight glint in her magenta eyes.
"I'm Medb," Medb decided to introduce herself, "by the way. Sorry for the rude intrusion I just tend to get a little caught up sometimes. You see, I like to have a bit of fun with the humans and it takes me a little while to revert back to a more ... respectable and intelligent figure. You may recognize my name for I'm one of the few demons who represents demon-kind on the demon council. The recent battle we're fighting was certainly not something I wished to happen so you may have heard of my disapproval. It's rather foolish to rush off into battle when the humans haven't even ventured close to our portal. The only good thing that may come of it is they may search in the wrong direction for our portal. Anyhow, your name would be, Sir Librarian and Miss Reader of books?"

"I am Silvanus." He nodded in her direction, acknowledging her. "I accept your apology. I know how caught up some of us can get. I don't expect anyone around here to be...nice...We're demons. Are we supposed to be nice?" Silvanus smiled. "Maybe...I don't know..." Always thinking, Silvanus couldn't stop wondering about how existence came to be. "Did you hold an occupation in your human life, Medb?" This woman was an interesting character indeed. Maybe she'd have an interesting history.

Odyen was a little taken aback from the sudden shift of colors. This girl was a walking rainbow. It was a little frighteneing in the bck of her mind. "I'm Odyne." She smoothly replied back. This demon couldn't be so bad.
