There was a bunch of crap in the basement when we moved into the house, and I've been removing it bit by bit as time permits. Combine that with crap we had as well that just got stuffed into the basement, and well... you have a lot of crap. xd
So I have to get a move on getting the crap out of the basement, 'cos we got flooring people coming in a couple weeks, and I have to get crap from the rest of the house put into the basement, so that we don't have to rent a (ridiculously expensive) storage container to put the furniture and crap into.
Crap!!!! scream

To quote Peter Griffin:
"Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, oh crap on a crap cracker."

Our basement is like that too.. crap piled on crap spilling out of crap. When I moved back here I had nothing to do it took me like a month or 2 to get it semi ok down there.

Among my accomplishments so far:
• Quite possibly pissing off the garbagemen (I'm sorry, "Sanitation Engineers" rolleyes ) for the last three weeks in a row with various pieces of old lumber, dead lamps, and various car parts I found in the basement. sweatdrop
• Rebuilding a desk in a half hour from pieces I rescued from the trash years ago (I now kind of have a workbench, yay!)
• Evicting countless numbers of spiders, etc. from their comfy lil hiding places.
It's actually starting to look livable down there now! xd
