That's tricky. I hate the idea of writing to publisher's guidelines, it makes me feel all funny. But the sad thing is, we've all got to do it if we want a strong starting chance. gonk
What are the publisher's opinions of triangles? They seem to go down well in every other kind of fiction. X3

Yeah, the guidelines can give you a head start...or simply hinder you. I'm not sure where my piece fits in the market at all having a young male lead with two older males...
Triangles are great! I prefer writing them and women love them whee My partner just cringes every time I mention an all male threesome xd

The funny thing is, I'm not sure I've ever written a triangle! I got close during one NaNoWriMo, but since it was the villain, and one of the two people was her brother, we'll wipe that one off the record. ninja Actually, it was more like a love hexagon, because she just slept with anything that moved. rolleyes
I don't even read books with prominent love triangles very often. >_>

Hahaha a love hexagon? Wow, she must have been busy! xd
I don't read much with love at all in it any more, just one of my series has couples smile

She was a very strange woman with a lot of free time on her hands. xd
I think everything I read has couples, but they're not a source of drama. :3

Mine always differ. It depends on the personality of the MC or character. Personally, I love writing the rogue that no girl can really get into the mind of, but lol I think I only have 2 of these.

My story is a little different, the girl and boy love interest (Jade and Philemon) they don't know that they like each other for a long time, but after awhile they grow to like like each other when they have to go on all of these journeys, and eventually they just sort of are in love...
Since they're in middle school, Philemon is kind of the sporty kid. He has caramel skin, and really curly hair that makes an afro, and dark black eyes. He's also a little taller than the other main character, Jade.
I kinda like the romance books that have romance, but it's not the whole book, like, there's other stuff going on. xp
I have no idea if anything I just said makes sense.
