Hmm ... I think this series has had a lot more deaths in it than usual. The woman in Partners in Crimes (Stacie I think it was?), Pompeii ... a city, Planet of the Ood - a complex, Sontarans - all of the Sontarans and Luke Rattigan, Doctors Daughter - The Doctor's Daughter (at least he though she was dead) and various Hath/humans in the fights, The Unicorn and the Wasp - The Vespiform and a few of the guests, Library - the 4 people (let's see, Evangelista, Proper Dave, Other Dave, and the girl I can't remember the name of!) and River Song (although technically they all survived XD), Midnight - The pilot, mechanic, Hostess and the woman who I can't remember the name of XD (even though I can remember the name of the insignificant character who died in episode one ...) Next week ... who knows?

It might just be I remember deaths from this series more. I think it's just more on-screen deaths have happened this series. If you think about it, there were millions of deaths in Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks, all of the hybrids. The Toclafane, PLUS 10% of the human population in the finale. We just SEE more people die this series.
