It had been a while since Alora had gone out of the house, and Yourie had insisted on shoving her out to walk around, at least for an hour, she threatened. Even Mereneth had sided with their temporary guardian this time, which Alora found both annoying and gratifying. It was good to see them starting to get along, though the pyro had said it was only because of his sister that he agreed with the telepath.
So, sighing, she had started off to the park. It was lucky she had a book in hand when Yourie pushed her out of the door. She had debated on whether to practice flying there, but decided on walking instead.
When she got there however, Alora fluttered up to a tree, curling up on one of the branches, pleased that she hadn't fell in midair. Half-absorbed in her book, she kept an eye out for people around her. The dove liked watching people, though she found that sometimes, they didn't like her doing that.

He had been swiftly kicked out of the house by his uncle as he was cleaning the house for the return of his mother and he wanted to get on her good side from the last stunt that he had pulled with Drez. So he had wandered down the road to the park to see if there was anyone there of intrest. As he didn't have his kundi with him to practic, so he would just have to work on his arm strenght.
Arriving at the park, there were all the usual scents of the part itself and of some of the people that use it. Is what his tongue was telling him as it flicked in and out. But moveing closer to some trees he picked up a scent that he had never 'see' before and it was somewhat simmular to Geia's. So he headed straight for the other in the tree.

Of course, it didn't take long for the observant female to spot the brightly colored snake, and she curled up in fear. It was out of her reflexes really. Snakes were a bird's predator, and one really couldn't blame her for acting this way. She was the same around Tyven, though the older girl had been nice and gotten her to relax.
Still, she couldn't help admiring the scales. Snakes always have nice colors. She wished she didn't need to be so plain, even though she loved her wings and who she was. It was just that, sometimes, she wished she could be someone else. Sometimes.
"Um...uh...he...hello?" She called down, her voice a quivering squeak.

Hearing the other calling to him and turned his head towards the voice with a frendly smile on his face. Drez slithered the rest of the way to the tree and stood just under it. "Hello, I'm Drez!" he answered. "By any chance are you a D-corp? You have a smell simmular to my friend Ligeia?" he asked with the tilt of his head to the side.
He was a little nervous meeting others and fiddled with his necklace as he waited for the other to reply. Also he wouldn't hurt no one and he loved to eat fish and not birds.

"I...am." She replied nervously, her tense muscles relaxing slightly. He seemed nice, he was smiling. It was a genuine smile, she was sure, and she smiled back shakily. He would not see if of course, but she didn't know that yet.
She tilted her head down to stare at him, letting out a gasp of shock. "You know Lige-gy?" It was a nickname she had given the owl boy when she was young and she had stuck with calling him that ever since. Alora floated down to the ground beside the boy with a flap of her wings, shifting nervously. If he was Lige-gy's friend, it was okay, right? They were both birds.
Of course, owls were predators too... The girl was so lost in her thoughts that she forgot to introduce herself to Drez.

Still smiling, "Yep. I first met him when he was babysiting me and some others and then met him in the park some time later. When he took me flying as well," As he was trying not to so scarry and not to show his fangs even tho they were really short.
Nervous as well and playing with his necklace. "Umm..I didn't catch your name and I don't want to be rude in calling 'heya you'," He did have to agree that she did have a nice voice beneath her being nervous.

"He took me flying too!" Alora said excitedly, bouncing on the balls of the toes. The delight in finding something similar made her forget her fear and open up to the other.
She giggled gently. "It's Alora."

"That cool. I love the feel of flying. He is such a great friend." As he wasn't so nervous as they both shared the same friend. In his mind he thought was cool.
Smileing, "That is such a beautiful name. So I was wondering what you were doing up that tree?" Still slightly playing with his necklace.

"Flying is fun. The wind blowing through your hair and everything, it makes you feel so free." There was a contented and somewhat dreamy smile on her face as she talked.
"Thank you." She replied, smiling gently. "I was reading. I like reading a lot."

"It does and its a feeling that you can never forget. It makes me what to go flying again," he said as he a dreamy look to his face. "One day I will have to ask Ligeia to take me up and you should come as well, it would be a lot of fun."
"Your welcome," he replied still smileing. "I have read a few books but my mother hasn't got any more books that I can read, but what is your favorite book?" he asked as he would have to ask for some new books that he could read.
