I love all animals. Right now I have an African grey parrot named ChuChu, five fish (Betta splendens and Betta macrostoma), and a miniature poodle named Morgan. I hope to have cats again soon, and rats. My partner who lives with me has hermit crabs (they can live 30 years!). I've had just about everything as a pet (ferrets, rabbits, cats, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, bugs), used to work at the zoo and mentored at animal control.
Now, I teach horseback riding -- dressage and therapeutic riding for the handicapped. I have taught for about six or seven years. I have my own horse named Xandy, a Polish Arabian, and also work with a gaggle of program horses. The barn where I work houses around 60 - 70 horses at any given time.
Anyone else have horses?

I used to own a 17 year old Bay Quarter Horse Gelding.
Sure didn't act 17 though. More like 6 -_-;;
He was a pony horse at the race track before I got him.
Needless to say he had loads of spunk.
I had to sell my boy Bobby about 4 years back due to a bad spill.
I couldn't ride for a good 2 years.
I just got back to riding a while ago. I would love to get another horse.
I ride western and love taking part in barrel races and trail rides.
I'm mostly just a pleasure rider. A nice long trail ride on a good pony.
