This is the first place you should come before you decide to post your Gallery.
First things first a little Q&A should help you understand what exactly the Galleria is.

What is the Galleria for?: The Galleria is for you to post your own gallery or a collection of your own SIGNED ART.

Why should I make my own gallery?: You should do this so that you can get opinions from other people on how your own artwork is and how you should improve.

What is the point of a galley?: As I said before, it is to post your own artwork and get opinions and suggestions on it. You are able to be complimented and your artwork will remain up for all to see if you put it here.

Alright now that is it for this part of the Q&A.
Your Gallery should always have artwork in it that has been signed by you or have something that is significant to you so that no one else can steal it without you recognizing it, or so you can claim it.

Their are risks to having your own gallery but in the long run the upsides are much better.

What are the risks to having a gallery?: Risks are stolen art, harsh criticism, etc. More may be added here.

What should I do to avoid these risks?: Well first off you can't really avoid the harsh criticism because chances are there always will be criticism. Avoiding the stolen art risk is somewhat easy. All you have to do is label or sign your artwork with something that is significant to you only. usernames don't always cover it, but they are better then nothing.

What are the upsides to a Gallery?: Upsides are art improvement, compliments, you can show off, you can be creative and learn new skills. See don't the upsides outweigh the risks?

Now moving on, you should label your Galleries with the certain type of art you are going to be showing. I have made up little signs I want you to be using.
Feedable Breedable Pets [FB]- Should be in the thread name if that is a type of art you are showing.

Graphics and Pixels [GP]- Should be in the thread name if that is the type of art you are showing

Manga/Anime [MA]- Should be in the thread name if that is the art you are showing.

Cartooning Art [CRA]- Should be in the thread name if that is the type of art you are showing.

Home Crafts [HC]- Should be in the thread name if that is the type of art you are showing.

Photography [P]

Fan Art [FA]

Tek Tek Art [TA] - NEW!

If you have multiple art styles you must put all the signs in the thread name.

It is best that you use an abbreviated version of your username and the signs that I have layed out for you.
Example: Deso Desi's Gallery[CA], or [CA]Deso Desi's Gallery.

Here are the main rules:
1. Use the signs I made.

2. No nude/inappropriate art please.

3. Follow all of the guilds main rules and Gaia's ToS (terms of service).

4. Keep harsh criticism to a minimum.

5. Give reasonable suggestions to people inside their Galleries.

6. Follow people's individual rules inside their Galleries.

7. No Flaming at all.

8. Be Semi-Literate, meaning no chat speak, etc.

9. Please Label or sign your art, we are not responsable for stolen art.

10. Please stay on the topic of the art inside galleries. If you are looking to chat you are in the wrong place.

11. Please have your artwork that is above 1000x1000 pixels minimized.

12. Try to be organized in your galleries.
