I'll stop wasting y'alls time with the intro, so, here's chapter one to the saga of the Elemental stones :]
<<<<>>>>
The continent of Pylasia is divided into four sections: The Western Mire, ruled by the Vampyre Lord, Dracul; The Northern Ice lands, governed by twelve clans of nomads; The Eastern Plains, ruled by King Liam and his beautiful wife Katrina; The Southern Desert, ruled by the lonely Empress, Gabrielle.
These four kingdoms lived in peace for many centuries. It was not until a dark presence, existing the farthest north of the continent, began to kill the vampires' livestock, that problems began to arise. Without livestock to feed their blood lust, the vampires grew ravenous and began to attack the human inhabitants of their own and other countries. The nomads began to fight amongst themselves, bringing about a civil war. The Southern and Eastern kingdoms had to wage war on the Vampyre Lord, for he blamed them for the missing livestock.
Years after the Great Wars began, the true instigator became known as the Dark Lord, a dictator of unknown origins. He had the powers of darkness at his hands and all fell before him. It was decided that the only way to destroy him would be to find the elemental stones of lore. Four existed, each representing one of the elements--Fire to the South, Earth to the West, Water to the North, and Wind to the East. But the stones could only be controled by the four chosen warriors.
This is their story, and that of those they came in contact with.

The infamous pirate ship, The Sea Goddess, sailed through the warm southern ocean, a massive wake, almost like the wings of gulls, extending from the aft. The Sea Goddess was a ship constructed entirely of Oak, painted a deep shade of red. The ship, although a ship full of thieves, lacked barnacles or scum; the captain of The Sea Goddess took pride in her vessel.
The captain of The Sea Goddess, Iya Memora balanced on the bowspirit, gripping the flying jib with one hand, the other shielding her eyes from the glare of the sun. Her brown hair flowed in the cooling wind, and her emerald eyes sparkled as seafoam specked her face. Iya Memora was a short woman, but she had a curvy figure. In her cleavage, she had a dagger (in a sheath, of course) tucked between her breasts, ready for any fight.
On the quarter deck stood a platinum-blonde fae, who went by the name Maori Maerad Eleani. She was a tallish woman, and almost always had something bitter and sarcastic to say. Her eye colour was never definite, as it changed with her mood. As of now, her eyes were a calm crystal blue. Around her neck, she wore a necklace with a clear stone with pale streaks of silver swirling inside; the stone of Luneria, goddess of the moon and air, and Maori was her vessel.
Leaning next to the door to the forecastle, there was Evander Areli. He was a handsome man, his skin was tanned from his years in the desert army. His white shirt was open, revealing a toned chest. On his hands he wore gloves with studded knuckles, perfect for fist-fighting. His red hair blew into his face, and he grumbled grumpily, as he almost always did, tossing his hair out of his face.
In the forecastle itself, Odd, a large, gray wolfish beast lay snoring in a hammock. Odd was once a human called Maxwell, but a wicked warlock placed the curse of the Yamodushi on him, transforming him into a beast. Odd scratched his chest and smacked his lips as he muttered "Pancakes," in his sleep.
Below deck, in the hold, two girls, Luz and Yamille, played a card game. Luz was a mere fourteen years of age. Her skin was pale, like moonlight. She laughed, a soft, cheerful sound as she played the ace of spades, flicking blueish hair out of her face. Her opponent, Yamille, a gypsy from the eastern plains, slammed her fists on the table and walked away, tossing back her long blonde hair, her brown eyes ablaze with anger.
Iya, now in her cabin, pulled her dagger out of her cleavage and set it on the bed and began to take off her wet clothing. She wrapped a towel around her body and opened her boudoir, pulling out an identical outfit to the one she had previously had on. She had just gotten the shirt on when Evander stormed in. Iya yelped and pulled down the front of the shirt, hiding her lower body.
"What is it?!" She shouted, throwing her wet clothes at Evander, who caught them, and threw them back.
"It's that damn beast! He hasn't pulled his share of work since last week! He needs to pull his own weight on this damned tub or else I'm throwin' him off!" Evander was famous for his temper and hot-headedness. Iya groaned and quickly pulled on a pair of breeches in the corner. Slipping into her boots she stomped to the forecastle, Evander close behind. Odd was still asleep and was muttering something about rum and blueberry pancakes, when, with much effort, Iya pushed him out of the hammock. Odd tumbled to the floor with a thud. Looking up at Iya and Evander, he growled.
"What do you need woman?! I was obviously sleeping!" He rolled over onto four paws and stretched, yawning. "Evander says that you haven't been doing work for a week? Is this true?" Odd glared at Evander, but gave Iya brown puppy-dog eyes. "T'isn't true captain! I've been working my poor water-logged bones to dust, I was merely taking a quick nap!" Iya wasn't fooled however. She took hold of one of his ears, much to his dismay and whimpers, and hissed in his ear,
"Odd, you are a good friend to me, but you are also a member of my crew. Any member that doesn't pull their fair share gets fourt lashes, but I'd up that to eighty since your so big, got it?" Odd did his best to nod in her death-grip and she released him and he got up, towering over her a good three feet, and went off to work, muttering under his breath. Iya looked over at Evander, and they locked gazes for a good five minutes, but Iya, blushing, slapped his chest and began shouting, "Why aren't you working? Go..do something!"
Evander muttered "whatever," and balled his fists in his pockets and went to tighten the mainsail. Iya rubbed her eyes and sighed, exasperated. It had been three months since they began this quest, one month since they had found the stone of air, and five months since the last time she had had sex. Evander was starting to look appealing to her. She brushed back her brown hair and collapsed in the hammock, quickly falling asleep.
