"I see." Mamoru felt like he wasn't quite ready to leave yet, so he tried to think of an excuse to stay with her. "Is there anything I could help you with before I go to work?"

Chibi-Usa sat down and waited expectantly for Daitaro to start singing.
Usagi smiled and shook her head. "Iie. Just a few groceries and maybe a trip to visit Rei," she said, knowing she was blowing her husband off.

Even though he had a feeling that he shouldn't leave, Mamoru supposed that he couldn't delay any longer so he nodded in response. He reluctantly said, "I guess I need to leave now anyways. I can't be late. But I should say goodbye to Chibiusa and Daitaro first."

Daitaro opened the CD case in hopes of at least finding a lyrics booklet, which there was. "Alright," he said, seeing the young Princess' expectant look. "Romance it is." His decision was based mostly on the fact that it was the shortest song of the four. Not short enough though, in his opinion. He handed the CD itself to Chibiusa, and let her figure out the player.

Chibi-Usa dropped the CD into the player and quickly set it to play the requested song. She giggled as the familiar music started and filled her room. She was definitely excited about hearing Daitaro sing.
"Could you ask Daitaro to watch Chibi-Usa-chan for an hour while you're in there? The sooner I get these errands done, the sooner I can come home and finish cleaning," she said, sounding oddly rushed. She just wanted to take care of the matter at hand (which, for her, was talking to either Rei or Ysauo about her sudden anxiety about something bad happening).

As the introductory music began, Daitaro clentched his teeth and prayed that neither Usagi nor the Master would hear a word of this. He glanced down at the lyric sheet and momentarily cringed at the realization that the beginning of this song was in English.
"I love you Baby Baby, raito keshite. Baby Baby, kiss wo shite..."
He knew he was horribly off key and glanced up at Chibiusa to see if she noticed.
