Just as legend says.
No, the failed one causes Link to the past, the originals, and Oracle games. Wind Waker is caused by the adult timeline, and Majora, Twilight, and Four Swords by the child one.

The Finale.Really!? Link to the Past is my fav. Didn't know it was connected to a failure. So this means Ocarina is the originator, story wise?

Actually Skyward Sword is the first in line, then Minish Cap, then Ocarina, so there is only three games before the split.

Right, the island in Skyward Sword is based on the island in the Link to the Past instruction booklet. They are really trying to connect this now... or at least more than before.

Yeah, showing them games with charm. My nieces love Sonic... yet they've never really played any of the games.
