Roleplay Session

Title: Spina is Awaken
When: December 28, 2004
Where: Courtyard, Spina's Lair
Participants: Spina, O-Ren, Sajhiri, Nox and Aranea

Sajhiri waited at the door of the tower for the kithain to arrive. She'd sent a message to someone called "O-Ren~Ishii" and now she wrung her hands in anticipation. The woman's eyes glowed a sinister red and she twitched from time to time as she fought back the surpressed "good side" of the psyche she controlled.

"Majestrix Nox will be so pleased if this is, indeed, Spina's blood kin. I think we almost have the riddle solved now, we just need her for the final piece to the puzzle."

~Aranea padded softly out from the laboratory, her bare feet slapping on the cold stones as she left the lower area of the Castellum. She wasnt sure what had bought her forth from her experimentations; maybe it was the fume of the chemicals, she need air to clear her head. She wound her way upwards, looking for window with a large sill that she could sit on.~

O-Ren opened up the letter once more while looking up at the tower. "Well this is it..." she told herself nervously. She started her way up the stairs, her legs slowly starting to go numb. She didn’t know what to expect, who to see. Soon she finally reached top to see someone waiting at the door for her. “Sajhiri?” she asked, hoping that she had gone to the right place.

Sajhiri smiled at the woman, an eager gleam in her crimson eyes. "Indeed, and you are O-Ren? I'm very pleased to meet you. Please, do come in..." The demonic manifestation of the Seraph ushered the potential Kithain into the Gaian tower, where she spent a goodly deal of time explaining to her that she might be Fey blooded, a long lost descendant of a slumbering fairy who needed her aid to wake and rejoin her beloved people. She explained about how the riddle had been uncovered, and how the grand Majestrix of the Moon Court would be eternally grateful to her would she consent to try and cross over to Tir Nan Og and wake the Sleeper.

~Meanwhile, back in Castellum Umbra, Majestrix Nox was pacing agitatedly up and down a moonlit hallway, a pensive expression on her face, dragging her nails down the stones with a chill scraping echo. "Soon...she will arrive soon..." she murmured. Her head snapped up as she discerned the approach of Aranea, and her eyes focused on the Alchemist's daughter in the gloom. "Who goes there?" she demanded.~

~Aranea hurriedly stepped forwards from the shadows, dippng a low and courtly bow.
'It is I, Majestrix.' she kept her head down in deference, before straightening.
'I am sorry if I have disturbed you, I was merely taking a break from my work.'~

O-Ren stood and listened in shook, everything she had just heard seemed so unreal. But she wanted to help, to have someone else. O-Ren looks down for a second, she had no family left, and now this. It was hard for her to say whether this would help, or make things worse. But there was no way, she would take away its chance to live again, or wake. She looked back up and nodded. "I will" she said softly, letting no other words slip from her mouth.

Sajhiri's smile dripped excitement as she took O-Ren by the arm and led her towards the centermost section of the tower. There an iron-banded door was pushed open with a good deal of effort, and the smell of grass and wildflowers drifted from the egress.

Within the center of the circular walled enclosure, open to the moonlit sky above, stood a ring of pale mushrooms which almost seemed to hum with magic. Sajhiri gestured towards them.

"If you are of the blood, you will pass into Tir Nan Og upon crossing the line of the faerie ring. If not, you shall still be here with me. Please, do try and cross over."

~Nox blinked at the sight of the teenager and dipped her head slightly in acknowledgement of the head bow. "Very well. I do hope your work is progressing well. It seems I have been lax in visiting you, you are already a young woman where before you were a mere child. Regardless, I may have some need of you at the moment. We are expecting a Kithain to be arriving with Jihaar in short order. It is possible this woman is, in fact, the blood of the Sleeper, an ancient Oracle who was but legend in my own mother's time. We have been deciphering the riddle of her whereabouts, but it has come to us that, not unlike the curse we have ourselves born, the Death Sleep can only be disturbed with the intervention of a non-fey of her bloodline."

The pacing resumed as the Majestrix clasped her hands behind her back. "As you can imagine, tracing so ancient a bloodline has been nigh impossible. But we may have found someone with a drop or two of Spina's blood in her veins."~

~Aranea had pretty much forgotten that she had grown, and that this change would be noted by others. She tilted her head in acknowledgment of Nox's words.
'That is good news then - this would give us an advantage over the Sun Court to have one amongst us such as this Oracle you speak of?' she queried.~

O-Ren looked at the mushrooms, usually she would have questioned something like that, but instead she just nodded and started walking towards them. She closed her eyes tightly as she stepped into the ring.

After feeling nothing she opened her eyes ready to say something, but she gasped finding herself in a strange place, a meadow. She looked around then quickly stopped, everything in her snapped around, she was now looking towards a very shadowy and spooky area, and in the distance she could see what looked to be a castle, but it was like no other she had ever seen before.

Soon she found herself walking towards it, like she was drawn to it. After what seemed like hours of walking she was looking at the front doors of the castle. They looked huge, O-Ren knocked on the door a few times, unsure if she was to just come in, or wait. She looked at the door patiently, wanting it to open more then anything, it was like nothing else mattered.

Sajhiri followed behind the newfound Kithain, watching her every move through narrowed blood-red eyes. As she knocked upon the door, she brushed past her and opened it. "You are welcome here, blood of the Fey. The Majestrix awaits us."

The woman led O-Ren through the hallways and out a side door onto the grounds of the black walled structure. Beside a high tower, a lake shimmered blackly in the night.

~Nox's lips curved in a sinister smile. "But of course, for it is said she can foretell the future. It is even said that she has access to magics lost to time, like that of the Death Sleep spell itself. Surely with her among us we can finally reveal we have returned to the Sun Court. The New Year is upon us, and surely the fools will be holding their revels for it. Perhaps we can...drop in as univited guests."

The Majestrix' twilight eyes seemed to glimmer with the machinations of a plan for their unannounced attendance at such a revel. "Perhaps you could even mix up something appropriate to add to their libations at the feast, Aranea?"

Before the teen could reply, however, the fey woman's head snapped around. "They are here. Come child, we have work to do."

The tattoed fey hastened to meet the others by the lake with her Alchemist in tow.~

~Aranea smiled back, a wicked smirk on her features. She did not get a chance to reply, however, as she hastened to follow the Majestrix, but in her head she was mulling over several interesting potions that she could come up with. She moved swiftly, keeping herself a step behind Nox.~

O-Ren jumped back after hearing Sajhiri speak and open the door, but no sooner had she started walking again, keeping close behind Sajhiri.

After she had walked threw the side door she looked around. What was this? She looked at the lake to the tower. She didn't know what to think of everything that was happening. It was too much like a dream. But she loved it, and if it was indeed a dream, she hoped not to wake up.

Sajhiri suddenly turned and dropped to one knee, bowing her head low to the ground. She called out, "Majestrix, I present to you O-Ren~Ishii, Blood of the Fey, ancestor of She Who Sleeps."

Nox drew herself up to her full height before her kithain servant and the other woman and looked down at them with an arched brow. "Welcome, child. It seems at last you have come to where you are so dearly needed." An arm stretched to gracefully gesture out across the lake. "The moon approaches it's apex, and when it does, it shall touch the lake where the Oracle sleeps. You must take courage and dive down to seek her, and bring her here to shore, where you, and only you, can wake her with your own breath."

Sajhiri hurriedly untied a small rowboat from a nearby mooring and climbed into it, drawing a sextant into her lap to measure the path of the moon in the heavens. "The apex nears, Majestrix, we must hurry!"

Nox laid a gentle-seeming hand upon O-Ren's arm and urged her towards the boat. "Come, time runs short." Aranea, to the boat. I am unsure of what state the Oracle will be in when we restore her. Your potions may be direly needed." She turned to the white-haired multi-armed fey behind her as her commanding tone seemed softened in the air of middle night.

Aranea recoiled a little from the body of water, but gathered her courage, and gently touched the pouch at her side. A few herbs, and some small phials of differing liquids were contained within. Thankfully today she was carrying it. She moved over to the boat, clambering inside, and gripping tightly to its wooden sides.

O-Ren nodded quickly at everything that was said and climbed into boat. She was now more nervous then ever, she had to swim to the bottom of the lake? She more scared then nervous though, what if she messed up?

Everything seemed to be turning real again, she looked up at the moon and waited, and soon she would find the oracle and save her. She was acting strange as well, most of the time she was very social, and talked alot, but since she had arrived, very few to no words came from her mouth, she couldn't even remember.

Sajhiri manned the oars and once all the fey and kithain were settled into the boat she began the arduous processes of pulling the boat through the water. Her gentle huffing and the creak---splash of the oars were the only sounds in the dead stillness of the night.

Nox took the sextant from her servant and began guaging the height of the moon in it's path. "There! THERE!" she called suddenly, pointing to a spot where the moonlight began to glow in a circular and steady spot on the surface of the lake, in the shadow of the tallest tower of the castle. It looked less like the moon's reflection, and more like a portal now.

Sajhiri quickly rowed over beside the luminscent orb and looked to O-Ren. "You must dive into the light and swim down through it until you lay hands on the form of the Oracle. Bring her back to the boat and we shall wake her upon the shore."

The surface of the lake seemed still in this part, like a sheet of glass.

Without saying a word O-Ren stood up and dived into the water. She opened he eyes but could see nothing, it was like she had tried to look at the sun. She closed them tightly and continued to swim down, her hands in front of her as she tried to get deeper. A few bubbles came from her mouth as she felt her hand touch something, it was cold, and felt like a rock, she ran her hand along, and it had to be it.

She wrapped her arms around it, then pushed of the surface as hard as she could, surprisingly the statue was a lot lighter then she thought it would be, but it didn?t make it more easy, she kicked as hard as she could, it was hard to tell if she was even swimming up, if she would have opened her eyes and could see everything would have been blurry, she was feeling more light headed by the second.

Her head flew out of the water, the wind making her face feel like ice, she grasped onto the side of the boat with on hand, taking in deep, icy gasps. She pushed the statue onto the boat and held onto the side, shivering and to cold to get up.

Sajhiri reached for the stoneline thing in O-Ren's arms and hauled it over the side. It landed with an unceremonious THUD in the bottom of the boat. It looked like a statue indeed, pale like alabaster, in the form of a fae woman of indiscernible features.

With a grunt Jhiri hauled O-Ren into the craft afterwards then at a sharp look from the Majestrix she bent back to her task at the oars, pulling the rowboat towards the shore at a steady pace.

Nox bent over the prone alabaster figure. "It is her, it must be." She touched the surface of the statue and drew her her hand back. "It is a...casing perhaps. Sustaining her within." She frowned down at the sepulchre like device as the shore drew ever nearer.

"Aranea, be prepared with something to revive one from weariness or long illness if you can. Once she is released, I suspect it may take her some time to regather herself after so long undiscovered."

O-Ren sat up in the boat looking down at the statue she had pulled from the water. The creaking of the boat was somewhat of a relief, she had never liked the water. And doing what she had just done had not helped her out in that area. She sat quietly unsure about what she should say, the only thing she really wanted to do was look at the statue of the Oracle.

Aranea backed up in the boat as much as she dare to make room for the Fey-statue. She nodded, holding phials in two of her hands as she broke up herbs, crushing them into a tiny bowl on her lap, and pouring small amounts into a phial.
'I have reviving tonic that cleanses the system that should do just the trick,' she said while working.

The boat ground against the sand and stone at the shoreline and Sajhiri tied it to the mooring. With a grunt she moved to drag the alabaster container onto the small sandy spit surrounding the lake, gasping for air after her exertions. She sank into the grass at the sand's edge and wiped her brow.

Nox looked approvingly at Aranea as the young woman went to work at her craft. When the boat stopped at last and Sajhiri had done her duty, the Majestrix offered a hand to help O-Ren out of the craft and led her over to the statue. "Now child, let your lips touch her brow, and breath upon it, so that you might break the spell and wake, Spina, the Oracle of the Moon Court."

The moonlight glinted wetly off the water-damp stone, and it took on a strange slight luminescent glow.

When the boat had crunched up onto the water's edge once more, Aranea bound out, swiftly filling her mixing bowl with water and pouring it into the phial. She swirled it around, a finger in the end to stop the contents from leaking out, and then she poured it through a piece of folded up netting material that she had pulled from her alchemists pack. It caught the larger pieces of herbs and left only the tonic, which she tasted a little of before hurrying back to Nox's side.

O-Ren leaned down over the statue, her closed her eyes and let her lips touch the forehead of it, and slowly she let out an icy, cold breath. She leaned back up, hoping she had done it right. Her fingers were now on her lower lip, as she nervously waited to see what would happen.

As O-Ren's lips touched the brow of the sarcophagus, the forehead of the figure began to glow faintly, a white glow as if through the alabaster, as if the stone were becoming translucent. Indeed, features started to become discernible, a tint of pale skin, and of dark hair through the hardened surface. With each moment, the details became clearer, as if the stone itself were thinning...or melting. Finally the glow spread throughout the container and grew to painful brilliance. In a sudden moment, it vanished, as did the alabaster shell with it, revealing the being within. With a steady rise and fall to show life within her breast, Spina lay on the sandy shore of Castellum Umbra's lake, once more part of the waking world, a sleeper no longer except in the most mundane sense.

Sajhiri boggled at the sight, her red eyes wide and glowing in the darkness. She stopped breathing, enthralled at the bizarre transformation.

"Surely this was a spell of incredible power..." Nox murmured towards Aranea, her hands rubbing together as if in anticipation of learning what else the Oracle could provide.

'Indeed,' she murmured back, her words barely shaped as she looked on in awe. Two hands held tight onto the phial of tonic for when it was needed, and she waited, watching the Oracle carefully.

O-Ren stumbled back, she was in shock, happy, and afraid all at once, unsure what to think or say. She sat frozen in her spot, watching the transformation threw wide eyes.

Spina lifted her head, her eyes were still closed as a slight breeze swept threw her hair. She slowly fell forward onto her knees, digging her fingers into the ground. It had happened, she was awake. But she felt nothing like it, her legs, and arms felt dead, like she could no longer move them. Her braided hair fell in front of her face as she opened her eyes. At first she could see nothing, only black.

She lifted one of her hands to her face, and slowly her vision started to come back, at first it was all blurs but slowly she started to see everything and everyone around her. At the moment having so many around was something she didn't want, but she didn't know what she wanted, or who she was barely. It was almost like she was still asleep.

"Spina, the Moon Court celebrates your return. Your blood runs with this child of Gaia, and she has called you back to us in our time of need. The Fey are recovering from a dread curse, the children of a millenia past trapped in time until they can be wakened by the blood. The acursed Sun Court's numbers have swelled though we are coming into our own again. And with you among us, surely we can crush them like the bugs they are!"

Nox's voice rose to a fever pitch, the light of fanatacism in her eyes, swirling with stars. "Will you stand with us!?"

Sajhiri stood at the Majestrix's left elbow, watching the new fey with trepidation. To the eyes of an ancient fey, she was easily discernible as being under enchantment, her conscious self being subverted by part of her subconscious.

Spina turned her head towards Nox, moving her hand away from her face back onto the cold ground. The words she heard ran threw her like water, every thing she siad went threw her before she could catch it. Spinalooked back down feeling dizzy once more she shook her head.

"The sun court...?" she asked herself quielty, before shaking her head. She couldn't think right now, she couldn walk, or move. With much effort she looked back up at Nox and gave her a weak grin. "Help me, and I shall help you..." she held her head up waiting for the answer she already knew.

O-Ren watched then crawled up, slsoly moving closer to Nox and Sajhiri, she watched Spina her eyes on nothing else as she stood silent.

"But of course, Oracle, we are your people, we shall help you. You have my word as Majestrix." She inclined her head respectfully, though a glimmer of avarice twinkled in her eyes, and a lust for power dwelled behind her lowered lashes.

"Aranea, tend to her needs if you would. I will have Corvus prepare a chamber for her use in the castle. Jihaar, return to Gaia and let Sajhiri resume her duties, we have kept her subdued far too long for it to go unnoticed."

With that, Sajhiri's inhabitant bowed and drifted back towards the meadow. The Majestrix smiled at Spina. "When you are recovered from your ordeal, I should like it if you would dine with me, that we might discuss...the future."

The Majestrix turned on her heel and strode back into the castle, leaving the Oracle to the ministrations of her Alchemist.

Aranea bowed her head at Nox's words, going to the Oracle's side. She uncorked the phial and held it before Spina's face;
'This will help you regain feeling. It is a restorative tonic, and will also cleanse your system. It may take time to work fully however. Your Kithain,' and she looked over at the woman;
'Will need to help you walk.'
She held the phial below Spina's lips, not knowing how much movement the Oracle yet had.

Spina tilted her head back, putting one hand on the vial, letting the liquid slide down her throat. She stopped and looked at Aranea to O-Ren. She then held out an arm for her Kithian to hold onto, so she could trying and get her legs working once agian.

O-Ren quickly walked towards Spina and nodded, putting her arm over her shoulder. Her eyes turned towards Aranea. "Where are we taking her?" she asked, her voice a bit croaking from not talking for so long and being nervous.

Aranea stood, noting that a slight touch of colour had started to show as her tonic worked its way through Spina.
'Into the Castle, and to the wing where our chambers are,' she explained, tossing her fine hair behind a shoulder. She put away her alchemists pack, and walked a little way from the waterside, pausing and turning to see if Spina's Kithain was following.

O-Ren nodded and began to follow Aranea, her eyes drifting from Spina to the ground. As she walked closely behind Aranea, but slow enough for Spina to get used to the walking.

Spina felt her legs straighten, she closed her eyes and took a step forward. It was like watching a baby learn how to walk, each step she took was clumsy and slighlty unbalanced. She opened her eyes, now getting used to the feeling, she paid attention to nothing but herself, it was all that mattered right now.

Aranea walked slowly, pausing often to allow Spina and her Kithain to catch up. As she led them to and inside the Castle and up towards the section where the chambers lay, she was shredding ingredients, and making a potion for a pain-free sleep. She used what water she had left after making the tonic, and shook the new phial to mix the solution thoroughly. Down a corridor, and past chambers she knew were occupied, but then she came across an open doorway and she peered inside, then looked at the Oracle and her Kithain.

'This one is empty, and looks ready to be used. I think this is the one that Corvus made ready for Oracle Spina to use.' she slipped inside and placed the phial on the bedside table, before exiting again.
'That will help you sleep without pain Oracle,' she explained, bowing her head...

Roleplay Session

Title: The Dark Reaving
When: December 29, 2004
Where: Spina's Lair
Participants: Spina & O-Ren

As soon as Aranea left the room Spina let go of O-Ren and walked to the table, she looked at the phial for a second then set it back down. Her eyes met O-Ren as she gave her a cocky smirk. She wasn't surprised, her body had healed within entering the room, and she was perfectly fine. Maybe a little rusty with her magic, but that would all change. After a few minutes of looking around the room she turned back towards O-Ren. "Come dear, please sit down." She motioned to a wooden chair with her slender arm.

O-Ren smiled slightly and walked towards the chair, she was more then nervous now. She was afraid, being alone with Spina was a horrible feeling. She pulled out the chair a bit then sat down, crossing her leg over the other one. She didn't say anything but simply looked down at the ground waiting to be spoken to.

Spina smirked as the woman sat down, she was afraid, and that was perfect. "Now, in order for all my plans to work, you are going to have to help me. But to do that, you will have to make some sacrifices. Nothing to big..." she grinned and began to slowly walk closer to the chair. "But you are usless like this." she scowled and shook her head before turning around. "But I can fix that, easily. Now sit still..." Spina grinned and quickly walked up to O-Ren, her face inches away from hers. She closed her eyes and began to speak, she was quiet enough for O-Ren not to hear a word, but loud enough to make the spell work.

O-Ren's eyes rolled back, her head fell to the side. And she sat motionless for a few seconds. Then her head snapped up, her brown eyes now red, her face looked twisted and crazy. "Mistress!" she slowly crept down from the chair and crawled onto her knees. "Mistress... I will do anything for you. Tell me what I can do..." she stayed crouched down, as if trying to lower herself into the ground.

Spina all at once looked highly pleased but disgusted, she grabbed onto O-Ren's shoulder and pulled her up. "Now that your... a little more willing. I need to think. I need to know what I've missed all this time, the wars, the betrayal. All of it." she siad sounding stressed but anxious. "And I will need to speak to Nox, no not just her, all the Moon Court. So much needs to be done... It's really quite pathetic." she tossed her hair to the side and looked into the mirror. "Now if you want to do something so badly, I need a bowl of water. And try to be quick..." she looked at O-Ren, her cold eyes wathcing the woman bow then run from the room.

"After she gets back... I can see how the Sun Courts new King is doing..." she smirked and walked over to the bed. Crossing her long, lightly tanned leg, before leaning back and closing her eyes.

Roleplay Session

Title: Meeting Feles
When: December 29, 2004
Where: Through out the Castle
Participants: Spina & Feles

Spina walked through the hall quickly, she didn't look mad or angry, just not happy.O-Ren, who was supposed to to bring her a bowl filled with water hadn't. She flipped her hair to the side while walking. Now she had to do it on her own, it had been so long since she last walked through the castle. It was like trying to remember a blur, nothing would come to her. She stopped and looked around, without those things she couldn't do the one thing she wanted to. See what lied ahead. Everything had changed it seemed dull, horrid to know that notone thing happened worth writing.

Feles was returning from the library, rubbing his nose where it still itched from the spider walking across it. That had tickled! He wished it could have gone with him, but it had gone back with Nea before he'd left. For the best, likely... he didn't want to lose it or anything. As he walked, he heard footsteps coming towards him and paused before ducking into an alcove to see who it was wandering the halls.

Spina looked around, there had to be a place she could get what she wanted. Once agian she was quickly walking through the halls, not knowing that there was anyone else nearby. Soon she saw a door, she stopped and looked at it, there was nothing on stating where it lead to. "Where is someone when you need them?" she siad outloud, her voice rising in anger. It was not her night, ever since she had woke up everything seemed strange.

Feles frowned, staying in the alcove as still and quiet as he could manage. His tail wrapped around himself tightly and he narrowed his eyes at the strange Fey. She wasn't like Nea... He didn't know what to make of this one.

Spina eye's narrowed, there was someone else around, she could sense out. It was no doubt someone from her court, but who? She turned around so she was now looking down the hall. If someone was there, why would they hide? She started walking agian, more slowly then before. Soon enough she would see who else was there.

She was coming closer... Feles backed up a step, winding up IN the window there, his back to the glass. Now that it was nighttime, he wasn't worried about the sun, and had no fear of the windows. He wanted to ask who she was or find out what on earth she was doing, but knew he wouldn't be able to form the words properly.

Spina stopped looking straight at the window, there was was someone, but they were young. "Hello there dear." she smirked and stepped closer slowly. "What would you be doing agianst the window? And alone." she grinned and shook her head.

The cat's tail lashed behind him in aggitation, and he wasn't certain just how to respond. He pointed to her then, frowning softly. "Who..."

Spina chuckled softly. "I'm Spina, and who might you be?" she watched his tail in slight amusment. She put a hand on her hip and watched the pale boy through her light blue eyes.

"Fes," he replied, just as he had with Nea. He KNEW it wasn't his name... not all of it anyway, but whenever he tried to pronounce all of it, he sounded like an idiot.

Spina raised an eyebrow. "Fes?" she smiled and looked around. "Well Fes, what would you be doing out here? And all alone? Do you not have a Kithain?" she stopped, knowing that she always seemed to ask to many questions at once.

He nodded at that, sighing softly. Why did everyone ask that? Did he need a babysitter? He pointed down the hall, towards the direction he knew his room to be. "Dere."

"Well... Since your out, would you by any chance know where I could find a bowl of water? If not I'll have to head down towards the lake." she asked. Her long nails clicking against the side of the wall. She wasn't sure why she asked the child, if she couldn't find it or didn't know weher to look, why would he.

Nodding, he slid from the window and started to pad down the hall. As he went, he glanced over his shoulder as if making sure the other were following him. He headed down the stairs, still barely making a sound as he walked into what seemed to be a kitchen area. There were plates and bowls stacked nearly in cabinets, but he figured that she'd see them well enough. He'd prowled all over this area, exploring before he'd gone to the library. It wasn't until he reached the doorway leading out into the back open area that Spina could see where he was headed. Out there was a small area lush with foliage and he pushed aside the leaves to reveal a small spring of water that seemed to bubble up from the ground.

Spina smirked as he lead her into the kitchen, then to the back door. "Wonderful..." she said under her breath. Her eyes glued to small spring. It was perfect, no, better then perfect. Her eyes fell back onto the boy, as she grinned. "Fes, do you know why my wings are torn, and I can no longer fly?" she asked, she knew he didn't know why, but she wanted him to know why she needed the spring. He was alot smarter then she thought, infact he seemed very cunning. She got down onto her knees, her face a few inches away from the water, letting some of her braids fall into it.

He shook his head softly, moving to sit on the grass with his tail laying behind him. Watching her carefully, Feles tilted his head to the side, pricking his ears up. Why would anyone WANT to get wet like that?

Spina ran her fingers along the top of the water before looking back up at him. "I gave up the ability to fly, so I see the future. I do not actually see the future but get clues to it in riddles... So tell me, as a way of thanking you, is there anything you wish to know?" she smirked while watching him. "Anything?".

Anything? Oh he had so MUCH he wanted to know! Unfortunately... he had no way of SAYING so. He tried, but all he managed to get out were a few babbling nonsense syllables that were all too common for one that appeared to be only about three years old. It frustrated him badly... and it made him angry that he couldn't communicate. The high emotions, however, only made matters worse, and he did the only thing a child his age COULD do when they were that upset... he started to cry.

Spina looked slightly shocked as he started to cry, she had forgotten how old the child was, he could speak a few words. "Shush dear. There is no need to cry." she leaned up and moved closer to him, putting her hand on his cheek trying to sooth him. She felt foolish now, and cruel for making him cry.

Feles looked up at her, knowing that he was on the verge of throwing what he feared was going to be one hell of a temper tantrum at his own inabilities. He sniffled quickly, hiccuping witht he motion as he sprang to his feet and ran back into the castle. He was NOT going to humiliate himself like this!

Spina stood up as he ran away, she had never felt so guilty. She could have followed him, but she knew it was better to leave him be. Slowly she started to walk back into the castle, looking back at the small spring once before closing the door behind her.

Journal Entry

Title: The New Year
When: December 30, 2004

Dear Journal,

I am beginning to feel a great desire for destruction, and part of that feeling was taken care of this morning. It seems that Nox's has finally decided to do what should have been done before I showed up. One the first day of the new year, she will make her move. Many of the Moon Court included, maybe even myself. But is such a a thing worth my time, no doubt I will show up, but will I help? I have ever loathed the Sun Court, but these new courts, the new leaders have brought great distaste to me. I feel nothing for this Court, not the desire to help or care, nothing. I feel this is normal, I will be there for the day we show ourselves to the Sun Court, but maybe just to know what happens.

It is very hard for me to say what my choice will be, if I do side with Nox it will not be for the Moon Court, but for my own personal gain. For the pleasure of pain I seem to lust for. Tonight I may have to make a visit to the the small spring a boy had shown me yesterday. Quite useful, and smart of him really. I recall him calling himself Fes. Though I doubt that is his real name. Never the less when he is older he will know that getting on my good side was a smart thing to do at such a young age. As fot the rest of the Court I could care for them less then my Kithain. Other then that my mind is running empty of words to write, so I shall leave it at this.

Roleplay Session

Title: The Maquerade Ball?
When: January 1, 2004
Where: Spina's Lair
Participants: Spina & O-Ren

Spina looked down at her Kithain threw her light blue eyes. "You are becoming more useless by the second! I give you the simple task of getting me a bowl of water and what do you do? You went back to your god for saken Gaian world!" she started pacing across the room opening her mouth to countinue the rant. "So I had to go uot myself, and ended up relying on a child to help me. Lucky for them they found a more then worthy spot." she turned back towards O-ren and looked down at her. "You have no other use do you?! You wake me from my death sleep and that is it? Your done?! You will try harder or else! My magic has been used for torture before and I will use it on you if I have to!" she siad threw gritted teeth.

O-Ren let out a few quiet sobbs and nodded, she was on the ground once agian, trying to cover her face as if ashamed. "My mistress! I'm am not worthy! Do with me as you must! I am not even worthy enough to look you in the eyes!" she covered the top of her head with her dirty hands. Her entire body looked filfthy from being on the ground so much.

Her gaze softened as she looked away. "You right, your not worthy, but once agian you can get off the ground. Nox's has informed the court of a surprise visit to see the Sun Court. They will be having Masquerade Ball... And you know how much I love balls" she looked back over her shoulder and smirked. "So I will be needing a dress... And here there seems to be nothing I like... So you will go to your Gaian world and look around for me. Once you find something I might like you will come back. And tell me... Got that?" she asked while gracefully spinning around to face the mortal.

"Yes my mistress! I will find you the perfect dress!" she nodded then slowly got off her knees. "Then I will return!" she looked up at Spina then winced as if afraid to be hit.

Spina rolled her eyes then grabbed her by the cuff of her shirt and threw her out of the room. "Then get on with it! We don't have forever you know!" her eyes gleamed happily as she watched her pick herself up then start running. "How pathetic..." she smirked and looked around. "Would now be a good time to be the great Oracle I am? I think so..." she walked out of her chamber and slowly closed the door behind her.

Spina stormed into her chamber, slamming the door loudly behind her. She had never felt so angered, her afce was flushed red as sher lips trembled. So many horrid thoughs came to her mind and she wanted to scream them all outloud.

Nearby sat O-Ren, she looked up at Spina and bowed. "Is something troubling you Mistress?" she asked still looking down at the ground.

Her light blue eyes shot at the mortal. The question my dear..." she siad softly as if trying to resist killing the useless being on the spot. "What isn't bloody troubling me?" her voice now loud and thunderous. "And a this very moment you are troubling me! How dare you speak to me as if you are equal... You are the filth under my feet, the scum no one else wishes to touch. How dare touch the ground I walk!' she screamed, her eyes turning wide and slightly tearing. "Now come with me... I need to see how this god for saken ball will turn out..." she waited at the door motioning for O-Ren to open it.

Her fists were is tight balls as she listened to her master. She was right, she is always right. Not daring to comment O-Ren quickly got up and opened the door waiting for Spina to leave before she dare move from the spot.

Roleplay Session

Title: Kitrye
When: February 2, 2005
Where: Spina's Lair
Participants: Spina, O-Ren, Kitrye

O-Ren walked threw the halls of the castle quietly, in her arms was small child who was deathly pale with red eyes. His arms were wrapped around her neck as she carried him towards Spina's lair. She sighed once reaching the door putting her hand on the handle and pushing it open. Kitrye peered over her shoulder down the dark hall, he was afraid to talk, to unsure about what to say. "Ishii... Whar we going?" he asked quietly as she opened the door, he buried his face in her shoulder covering his face. O-Ren smiled and ran her hand threw his hair. "You are going to meet Spina. She is like your sister." she set him down on the ground so he could walk in himself. She was more then nervous about how Spina would react, but they were family, and sooner or later she would have to accept that.

Spina peered up from her journal watching the small boy infront of door. "Who is he?" she demanded while looking back down at her writing. Once agian her Kithain had disturbed her, but she was not in a low enough mood to punish her infront of a child. O-Ren bowed slightly before entering and took Kitrye's hand leading him into the room. "This is you... 'brother'." she siad with a smile. "Kitrye, go say hello to Spina." she got down on her knees andgave a slight nudge forward. Kitrye looked nervously at tall women with torn wings, she was quite odd looking to him with her horns as well. "'Ello Spina! My name... Kitrye!" he smiled a bit then walked over to her trying to look at her book. "What you doin?" he asked hoping she wouldn't get mad.

Her eyes lifted from the book once more after hearing O-Ren's words. "My brother? How wonderful..." she siad sounding as if she could not care less. She looked down at the child and forced a smile. "It's a pleasure Kitrye... And this would be my... journal." she lied while closing the book. It was her history book. During the time she had been awakened she was waiting for something to happen. Something worth writing down... She stood up and placed the book down. "So tell me." she siad her eyes once agian O-ren. "Why are you here?". O-Ren walked closer then scopped up Kitrye. "We came by to say hi... But it looks like your busy, so we can leave." she started walking towards the door not waiting for a reply. Spina almost laughed "Really? It just looked like I was busy? Maybe that's because I was?" she smirked walked over to them pushing O-Ren out of the room before closing the door. "What a useless Kithain..." she siad sounding annoyed before picking up her book once more to start her writing.

O-Ren sighed then laughed setting down Kitrye once agian then taking hold of his hand. "That went pretty well... Maybe she'll be in a little better mood tomorrow." she smiled and started her way down the hall, followed by the clumsy steps of Kitrye.

Roleplay Session

Title: The Plan...
When: February
Where: Sun Court Castle
Participants: Spina & Sun Court

Spina looked at the door, her idea was much better. The words of the Sun Court rang threw her ears, they were fools. It would be perfect, she would help them just enough to make things a little more interesting for herself. Spina grinned thinking of all the things that could happen if she did this correctly.

"Then it's decided." she siad cooly to herself looking at the door. But instead of opening the door to go in, her body started to become one with the shadows. Soon she found herself on the other side of the door, every one of the Sun Court was in sight. Slowly her body become visable once agian as she stood up quietly seeing how long it would take for them to notice her.

Ursa blinked and spoke up, "I'll go as well. I may be of assistance if anyone gets hurt-" she was interrupted, her eyes had led towards the door. And there standing.. Who for that matter. It wasen't a Sun Court Fey. An illusion maybe?

"Who are you?" She questioned, her tone firm, she grasped onto the ledge of the table, and eyed the mysterious figure. Was this person sent by the moon court to cause harm? Floods of questions builded up in her head, but her gaze remained intact...

Cervus looked from Muris to Alces and back again. "The two of you shall depart to scout Umbra as soon as possible. The rest of us, will prepare to launch the rescue once entry to the castle is found."

He froze as he stared at the shadows and at the woman who coalesced from them. "Identify yourself and state your business." he commanded.

"Well.." she started looking at all of the Sun Court while thinking over her words over carefully. "I am Spina, Oracle of the Moon Court. But before you all jump to conclusions." she grinned eyeing the two that had spoke to her.

"I have come to... Help you." she walked over to the table placing her hands on it, her expression looked twisted. "So your trying to find that child? It would be foolish to go anywhere near our castle unless you knew what you were doing..." she added letting her words sink in.

*Lilium stared at the oracle with contempt* Why should we trust you? You just told us you were with them. If anything we should take you in an attempt to trade for the child.

*she looks to Cervus to see his reaction to Spina's statements hoping he isn't considering taking her at her word"

"Yes, why should we trust you, and why shouldn't we take you prisoner? The Queen is right, you would make an ideal trade for the child."

Cervus eyed Spina with a glitter of anger in his eyes, and the light glinted off the cream hue of his antlers.

Alces held his breat and nodded at Cervus. "We'll try to find one as quickly as possible." He then trailed off and had taken to staring at Spina once Ursa had pointed her out.

His eyes then narrowed as well, after all, she was one of them. Alces had glanced at the queen and nodded, also wondering why they should trust her.

Spina raised her eyebrow then grinned. "Your right... There is no reason for you to trust me. But if that is the case I can take my leave, if you do not wish for my help." she siad while looking at each of them. "But let me say this... I care nothing for this new Moon Court. If I would have wanted to go agianst your court I would be with the Moon Court right now, helping them with the soon to be torture of that child." she siad her words coming out like ice.

"So now is the time to tell me what you want. I can help or leave. All I wish to do if help you find the child and bring her back. I have asked for nothing in return." she added her voice starting to sound more calm. In they turned down her help, her main plan would be ruined. She would have to talk them into accepting her help.

Ended due to my interenet failing and me missing to much...

Journal Entry

Title: Unseen
When: March 8, 2005

Dear Journal,

The last few days have been to much, the Moon and Sun court are still agianst one another. I could not care less for the foolish games they play. With the way things are shaping for the Moon Court, weakness is all that they will gain. I have very little pity left for them, for new things are on my mind. For once I cannot understand the riddles shown to me, but each one of them seems to mean the same thing.

The most simple thing I can think of, is that the Sun Court will grow. Already their numbers are vast, though they are all fools. I cannot trust neither court it seems, they remian to be pawns. I can only hope something useful to myself will happen soon. But, it seems to me that their next arrival or one coming soon could be a threat to me. Though it's hard to believe that, not a single one of them could have the magic or power to do me any harm.

I must end my writing here, my kithain has once agian become bothersome, why she is still alive surprises me. Perhaps the reason is that she is of my blood, but whatever the reason, it will most likely remian hidden.

Roleplay Session

Title: Dust
When: November 15, 2005
Where: Spina's Lair
Participants: Kinky San (O-Ren)

Kinky stopped infront of Spina's door. Her body felt numb as she watched, as if waiting for Spina herself to emerge from behind it, her cold eyes peircing her like knife. My excuses will mean nothing to her... She will treat me as the slave that I once was to her. Her head began to fill with thoughts, she was starting to regret even coming back to this place, but it had been haunting her, holding onto her to like a nightmare with no end.

Her pale hand reached for the door pushing it open gently, she was ready to drop to her knees and ask for forgiveness. But only a small cloud of dust greeted her, her eyes drifted towards the small wooden desk, on it sat a small wooden bowl filled with water that looked months old. Kinky poked her finger into the grimy water, then looked about the room. Cobwebs, dust... Her books were still here. Has she died? she asked herself while taking sitting down on what was once Spina's bed.

Slowly she ran her fingers along the covers, Spina had hardly used it. Kinky let out a small scream and fingers digging into her forehead, Spina's twisted voice began ringing threw her ears. I have to find her... I will look for her till me lungs burst... I must. Kinky stood up and swiftly made her way towards the door, she didn't know where to look, but Spina's was alive somewhere, and she would find her, even if it meant spending her life as a mere slave to the one who had treated her so cruely.
