Powers: 1. The ability to control and manipulate shadow into tangible forms, making them into weapons and ways to shield herself and aid her in evasion and battle. She has also been learning nastier tricks with shadows, but does not like using them. A secondary control of lightning, though it hurts her to use it, it has now weakened due to the experimentation and she is trying to regain that old skill.
2. A slight, sixth sense that aid her in knowing those she meets, allies, enemies and locations of those that she is close too emotionally.
3. Heightened senses, maneuverability, flexibility, and resistance to pheromones and some poisons.
Strengths: Combat and tactical knowledge, a cool head in battle and a logical, pragmatic personality. Also she has a quiet, observant manner that serves her in espionage and undercover missions. With that in mind, she is not easily ruffled by other people and that quiet confidence can be unnerving.
Weaknesses: Light. Due to her past and some mistakes made, Hawk in unable to stand bright light, or exposure to sunlight for a certain amount of time. If she is exposed, her skin will burn and she will be rendered immobile by pain and a sense of panic. It also hurts her body to use her control of lightning. Usually she can use the shadows nearby to shield herself, but if that is not available, then that means trouble. There are times, also when she is uncertain and uneasy, especially in a group, and can seem cold and distant.
History: Hawk was born in Scotland, and once recalled her real name. Memories of her childhood were murky and few, though she recalls that she had parents and two brothers, and her life was happy. When she was in her teens, she and her twin brother Tristan started to exhibit elemental gifts, hers was with lightning, and his was with fire. Tristan suppressed his gift, until it seemed to fade, and when they were nineteen Hawk was separated from her family.
Taken into a laboratory called Blackwood Osiris Hawk became a genetic experiment, her body subtly changed, as scientists tinkered with her abilities. This did not have the ideal results, as Hawk soon was unable to stand light, and her mind began to break from the strains of the experiments and the training she went through. On the verge of losing her mind, she was approached during a mission, and she chose to leave with a vigilante group. From there she became a refugee and a renegade finding the city of Barton and trying to build her own life. Recently memories of her old life seem to be returning and she quietly is on the search for her family.
Appearance: Hawk is a slight young woman with fair skin and thick auburn hair. With a wiry, lithe form she is fit and healthy, with a direct gaze and dark blue green eyes, a rim of gold surrounding the pupils. She usually prefers to dress in pants, shirt and a long leather coat; the coat is stylized on the back with a flying hawk and Celtic lines. A few faint scars trace along her face, one over her brow, another on her cheek, and some on her hands.
