1. I would love to see some colour. But, because 'Chorlieie' here is C.B. I'll take that responsibility over. If she lets me into the guild -bwhaha- (j.k)
2. I'm not much of an R.Per myself (personally, I think it's stupid) But I support it. Go all you RP fans, I like reading the funny ones. (NOT the stupid narutard ones.)
3. Please please please please PLEASE PUHLWEAZXES remove your 1 month probationary period. In the workplace, one month = a raise from minimal wage to 1 dollar more. In real life, one month can be a rags to riches success story. Wars have been fought and LOST in one month.
Remove the probation, and allow the users to do as they please. If they like the guild, they will STAY.
oh. and 4. Change the front page up a bit. Doesn't have to have colour... but it would be a lot nicer if it was nicely spaced, bold-ed, italicized, aligned... etc. :3

The color thing may come later. If I get enough people to warrant a real VC, I'll let them do that. The VC right now is my mule, use to be a friend's account.
The beauty of the guild is that there is a lot of stuff to do even if you aren't an RPer.
The probationary period is for my safety. I'm going to open the toy box soon, and I want to know that I can trust people with my goodies. Besides, if you make it through the probationary period, its like you earned something. I'm hoping that will instill a greater sense of responsibilty in the guild.
Now your just getting picky. Remember its a new guild, so its bound to change a little.

I love the Toy Box idea, and I'd enjoy helping you out by letting members borrow some of my items as well. I don't have such an extensive list as you do, but I do have a few rare items that members may enjoy. The only concern I have is the issue of trusting the members to return them. I was thinking that maybe we should have a point system and a member must have a certain amount of points to borrow an item depending on the MP's current value price. If you decide to do so the point system should have to do with being active in the guild so this will also help encourage members to become active.

Hey, thanks for the offer Cherry (yeah, I warped your name for my own sick sense of humor). I was thinking about asking people if they would consider helping to add to the inventory. Since there is a chance that you'd lose the item, I was going to offer to insure them with my own gold, that way, my idea wouldn't cost anyone else if it got screwed up. The toy box is the main reason for the one month probations. I like the point system idea though. Maybe I'll mull it over for a while. The issue being that, I don't want to have to change the points on an item everytime its market value changed. But I could set a certain number of points and leave it. I think points would probably just be your number of posts, that way everyone would know exactly where they stand on the system. Hmmm, you've given me ideas. We shall see what happens.

Haha. The toy box idea is a good one...
But I don't have that kind of faith in Gaia. Not just yet anyways.
Not after being scammed of my 04 account.
And then my 05 account.
And then I took one year off and I got my 07 account falsely banned by a hacker who managed to get me an admin warning of "Password botting."
Sad thing was, all of these counts, I've invested real life money into monthly collectables. crying
Oh well. Time to start fresh. :3 I'll help you out in the toybox thing, just ask if you need anything.

I fortunately, have managed to avoid being scammed and hacked. I pick passwords that are impossible to guess, usually a random assortment of numbers and letters.
Thanks for offering the help with the Toy Box.
I always feel bad when someone I know gets scammed, especially since I spend real money on gaia too. If I were to lose this account, I'd die. I try to keep my items spread between mules so they won't get everything.
I was thinking, maybe we could start a charity for hacked members. Like, ask members to donate trash, bugs, daily items they don't want, that sort of thing. Then we use it to gather up a scrap of gold and keep in a mule, and if someone in the guild gets hacked, we have a little something to help them get going again. I'm not sure anyone would help though. Maybe, when we get to more people.

Haha, no no, I like that idea.
I don't have much to offer- this scarf was donated to me by a very generous someone, and the monthly collectibles that I am holding are my single purchase I've made on this account.
But yeah. I'll wait until Gaia has regained my trust and faith. :3

Now that I think about it, its not a bad idea. I may set one of my mules up do to just that. Every day when I sign in, I go through my mules and get the daily junk. We would have at least that much to offer then.

That sounds good. It's better than if the bugs, trash, etc were just rusting away in my inventory, which they are doing now. I was thinking that it may be a good idea to do a charity auction. Some percentage of the profit could to charity and the rest to the guild so it would be killing two birds with one stone.
My minds not really in the mood to be original and creative today, but I'll come up with something more interesting later, hopefully. whee

I think a charity auction is a good idea. Maybe we could get people to donate items they don't want. Then, maybe we could give out prizes for bringing in the most gold or something.
You've got some good ideas, but I think we need more members before we do this particular one.

Because, well, if you're colourblind... Music must be very wonderful to you eh?

Hmmm, its a novel idea........ I think we could look into it. Ok, I've decided to make a TOpic for Ideas. Post the stuff you've come up with, as well as anything else you think of in there. Then when I think we have enough people, I'll look into doing some of them.
