Hello, I sincerly appologize if this is in the wrong place, but I need to ask for some advice regarding an outfit.
My friend is designing a dress on short notice and she only has a plain denim dress. Do any of you have ideas on how to fix it up and make it a little more lolita-ish?
Keep in mind, it doesn't have to look entirely loli, it just has to resemble it a little bit. Any ideas?

Your friend will probably want to look into Meta's designs. A lot of their pieces are vintage-related and a few have incorporated denim before; both of those might work for a denim dress, really. As long as it has the right shape and a few lolita accents, I think denim can work.

Thank you very much! She already is adding on some bows and such, but she was unable to acquire lace, so right now she's just trying to work with what she's got.

wai , If you actually tried to sew a denim skirt yourself it would be difficult.
the skirt's shape kind of matters. She might need to modify it to be bellshaped... @__@;;

denim? Denim is like stain, its not suppose to work in lolita. With a lot of creativity I think you can make it work. Maybe add some lace at the bottom and fake flowers in the middle of the bows?
