"Let us see here, we need....." Dark eyes scanned the hand-written list has a hand plucked various items off the shelf and tossed them into a shopping basket. Burn heals, Potions, pokeballs, antidotes, etc etc; all this training lately had been putting a major drain on her healing supplies. Thankfully, the cash from the victories had helped she and her group pull through.
The light tugging of claws clinging to her beanie caused Jen to reach up and poke her passenger. "Hey now, don't go falling off now." A soft laugh came forth when tiny paws climbed down before over-large ears, a cute face, and bright green eyes took up her enite line of vision.
"Pichu pi!"
"I can't see Abi!" Jen reached up and plucked the Pichu from her head before dropping her into the shopping basket; as the list was given one final go-over, Abiba (being the curious little bugger she was) started poking around the items, opening containers and seeing the concoctions inside.

The speaker clicked on in the shop. A female voice blared over the isles of the pokemart. "Sale on pokefood on isle two. Sale on pokefood on isle two." She announced in a monotone voice.
"HURRY HURRY HURRY!" Luna called to ChuChu as she wheeled her cart violently towards isle two.
"Rai!" ChuChu called, chasing after her trainer, her tail straight in the air and ears attentive. They HAD to get to the sale, her whole team depended on it! Sure, they had Nine's berry patch as a food source, but Albireo needed a LOT of food. More than Nine could spare.
As soon as Luna got to the food isle, along with a hoard of other trainers, she immediately stuck as much food as she could on her cart. ChuChu mimiced her. "And this...and this...Ooo, this is only 100 yen! And this..."
Minutes later, Luna emerged with a victorous look and a full cart. ChuChu perched on the front of the card, tail flickering happily. Yay! They would have plenty of food tonight!
The trainer made her way towards the checkout.

Jen had heard the annoucement (along with the mad rush) but didn't really pay any mind to it as she walked out with her things stuffed into her backpack. Thankfully, none of her pokemon were that big of gluttons when it came to food; she was equally thankful none of them were that picky of eaters either!
Reaching into her pocket, Jen pulled out a well-used PokeGear and scanned the map that popped up on the tiny, holographic screen. Poking her head out from under her Trainers' beanie, Abiba watched with interest as her human investigated what was on the screen.
"Um....well, hm....I think we can afford at least one night at the motel down the street..." Reaching up behind her head, Jen gave the little tail sticking a gentle tug. Abiba squeaked and giggled at the tickling sensation. "Or we can head on out to the woods tonight....desicions desicions, eh?"

Luna walked out of the store with two huge shopping bags in each hand (and a few in her backpack) while ChuChu carried a small bag with her paws. "Whew, great day of shopping!" Luna said to ChuChu.
"Chu!" The raichu replied, already imagining eating the delicious canned food. they didn't get to eat it often, only on discount days.
A few moments later, with Luna humming merrily, the two partners passed by Jen on the street. Or at least Luna did. ChuChu, her vision crowded with the shopping bag infront of her, bumped into Jen's leg and nearly fell over.

"What the?!"
Glancing around, Jen looked for the person who bumped into her. Not finding a human, pokemon was the next option that slid into her brain. Looking down, the culprit made herself; laughing, Jen reached out and gently tugged the bag away from the Raichu.
"Ya know, Chuchu! Ya gotta be careful if you can't watch where yer goin', especially with this stuff."
Placing it on the ground, the trainer glanced around for her battle rival and fellow trainer. In the meantime, Abiba jumped down and scampered over to the female Raichu. She blinked, nose twitching at the unfamiliar scent.
"Pi? Pi.....Chu?"

"Chuu..." The raichu said, her ears pressed back and low due to the scolding. She took it seriously. Taking a hold of the bag, ChuChu was just about to make her way back towards her trainer when she heard the Pichu speak.
She blinked at the small pokemon. "Chu?" She asked, putting down her bag again and poking the pokemon on the forehead.
Luna was already a bit ahead of ChuChu before she heard Jen's voice calling ChuChu's name. Zoning into her surroundings again, she turned around to see her rival and her pokemon. "Oh, hi Jen!" She said, attempting to wave but failing due to the weight of the bags. It was more like raising one of her bags a little bit higher into the air before letting it droop down again.

Laughing at the attempted gesture, Jen walked over and took some of the burden bags away from her friend without even asking first. Shifting them so she carried them with one hand, the trainer motioned towards the Raichu and Pichu behind them.
"You keep zoning out and you'll loose yer pokemon." A small laugh. "Im kinda surprised that you never do that while battling though...or does Prince keep ya from going into dreamland?"
Abiba squeaked and flopped down at the poke on the forehead. Rubbing the spot with her paw, the pichu instantly bounced up and tried to return the favor.....
Only, Chuchu was too tall and a bag was blocking her fingers' path. Ears drooped sadly as Abiba hung her head. "Pichu......"

"Thanks~" Luna said as Jen helped her with the bags. They were pretty heavy and it was quite a relief to her arms. The trainer gave an embaressed laugh at Jen's question, blushing a bit as she suddenly became a bit more interested at the objects on the ground.
"I guess battles are just more exciting~" She said, looking up again at Jen and tilting her head. "Don't you think so too?"
"Chu." ChuChu said, smirking a little at the pichu's failure. She was happy she was at least taller than someone. Hearing her trainer's voice once more, the raichu waddled over to Luna.

Shifting the bags a bit, she reached up and pushed her bangs out of her eyes. "Well, depends on the battle and who i'm battling with. But, yeah, battles are pretty exciting."
Grinning as Luna looked at the ground, Jen turns the other while walking down the sidewalk.
In the meantime, Abiba did a little scowl (more like a pout) and stuck her tounge out at Chuchu before scampering over to her human. Bouncing up, the little pichu grabbed hold and clung to Jen's leg as she walked.

ChuChu huffed as she worked to keep up with her trainer. This was basically her daily training, following around her trainer all day. Usually it wasn't so difficult...but today...the bags...She didn't even notice the pichu scowling/pouting at her.
"So...where are you going Jen?" Luna asked, not wanting to burden the other person with walking all the way to her stall near the harbor. Hopefully, they would be going in the same general direction.
"Chu....Chuu....Chu....Chuu..." Said the raichu, now having difficulty with each step. The bag probably weighed two times her weight.
"Oh, you okay there ChuChu? Luna asked, looking back at her pokemon. She took the tied handle of the bag, lifting it off the raichu's arms. ChuChu looked at her trainer with a relieved expression and Luna simply chuckled.

"Me? Im not heading anywhere in particular."
Spinning as she walked, Jen eyed Luna and Chuchu, the latter of the two was quickly becoming exhausted. Thankfully, her trainer picked up the bag burdening the electric type.
"I was thinking of killing time with some training...maybe swing over to the casino? I heard they got a Porygon and a Clefairy as prizes."
Abiba, during this little conversation, had taken a perch on Jen's shoulder. She gave a light "Chuuuuu!" at the spinning/walking thing her trainer did, getting slightly dizzy in the process.
