"Makers of Fine Wands since 382 B.C"
In the window to the store there is a single wand resting on a faded purple cushion. The inside of the store is lined floor to ceiling with wand boxes. Ollivander's was closed in 1996 when he was kidnapped but re-opened after Voldemort's defeat two years later.

Walking into Ollivanders for the very first time young Amelia had no clue what was going to happen to her. Before her father left her to go to the Cauldron shop to get Amelia a new cauldron he told her what Mr. Ollivander tells all of his new customers "The wand chooses the wizard". With this phrase in mind Amelia panicked that maybe no wand would choose her and she would never have the chance to experience the life her father nearly gave up so many years ago.
"Ah, Ms. Rochelle welcome" Mr Ollivander said appearing out of no where like a ghost. "Hello Mr. Ollivander" Amelia replied quietly. "No need to be shy dear girl I don't bite" Ollivander replied smiling. "Now let me see..:Runs his fingers over the shelves: Ah try this :Hands Amelia a 11 inch Oak wand with a unicorn hair core:" Amelia just stared at the wand for a moment before she waved it. :Smash: The wand ended up shattering the picture frame on the sales desk. "Reparo" Mr. Ollivander muttered waving his wand at the broken frame. Amelia watched in awe as the frame pulled itself together and the picture popped bak inside. "Hmmm" Ollivander pondered for a moment before he went to the back of the store and pulled out another 11 nch wand however this time it was a Holly wand with a Phoenix feather core. Once the wand was placed into her hand it began to glow. Mr Ollivander smiled and said "I see that you are like your father" "Pardon me sir?" Amelia said "Well Ms. Rochelle your father has a very similar wand to yours." "It just so happens that the Phoenix's tail feather that is in your wand came from the same phoenix as the tail feather that is in your father's wand"
"Mr. Ollivander are there more wands out there like mine?" Amelia asked "Yes, but very few your wand is the third wand i ever sold with that tail feather." "Thank you Mr. Ollivander and good day." Amelia said after she purchased her wand and about ready to leave the shop. "Tell your father I said Hello, will you?" Mr. Ollivander called after the retreating 11 year old. "I will, sir" Amelia said cracking the first real smile she had since arriving in the elderly man's shop. Now all Amelia needed to do was too buy some owl treats and buy her school robes and then she was ready for september 1st and her first year at Hogwarts.

Kallista rushed into Ollivanders "Um, hello?" A man appeared out of nowhere. He must be Mr Ollivander I need a wand. Wow that was a foolish thing to say Mr Ollivander looked at the boxes and handed her a wand that was Ivy and Veela Hair. Kallista picked it up and gave it a wave. Instantly a vase on the desk broke. Mr Ollivander disappeared again and came back with a wand that was Holly and Leprechaun Hair. She swished it and the wand glowed. "Peculiar," Mr Ollivander said. "You must be Irish" "How did you know?," Kallista said. "That wand has a core of Leprechaun hair, it is temperamental to those who are not Irish." "Ah," Kallista said. She paid for her wand and the ran out of the store heading towards Flourish and Blotts.

Erik stepped into the shop, and approached the desk. He rang the bell, his movements stirred up dust making him cough.
"I've been expecting you." a voice said.
Erik jumped, and turned to face an old man, his body bent with age, who had not been there before.
"He-hello. I'm Erik, I'm here to purchase a wand." He said, still a little shaken.
"I know. Welcome Mr. De Luca. I am Ollivander." He said.
"I-I Don't recall saying my lat name." Erik said nervously.
"Step this way." Ollivander said, not paying attention.
He led Erik to the side, to a cleared space past the counter.
"Which arm is your wand arm?" Mr. Ollivander said.
"Huh?"
"The arm you write with." He said patiently.
"Oh. I'm left handed."
"Ah, they say greatness can be expected from people who are left handed. We'll see if it applies with you. Now, stick out your arms."
Erik did as he was told, and he was instantly surrounded with tape measurers measuring every inch of his body. The measurers were moving by themselves, Erik realized, when he saw Mr. Ollivander examining the shelves, tapping his chin with a finger.
The measurements finished right when Ollivander reached into the shelves and pulled out a long, thin, box.
"This might do the trick. Holly and Dragon-Heartstring. Nine inches. Very supple." He said, opening the box and offering it to Erik.
Erik took it, and stared at Ollivander blankly.
"Give it a wave." He said. Erik did so, and simultaneously, a shelf exploded, and Mr. Ollivander snatched the wand back.
"Not this one, eh? How about....This! Ivory, pheonix feather, eleven inches."
Upon waving it, it was snatched away, and the front window shattered. Mr. Ollivander kept bringing different wands, and none of them seemed to work. The more that didn't work, the more excited Mr. Ollivander got.
"Not this one either...Hmm. Lets try this."
Erik took the wand, and a tingle shot up his arm, and a warmth spread through his body. He waved the wand, and white sparks shot out, reparing all of the broken objects in the room.
"Hmm, that was rather advanced magic. Expecially for a First Year. Well, no matter for now, this wand is thirteen inches long, Oak, and a core of unicorn hair. A strong wand for protection and healing, use it well."
Erik paid the seven galleons for the wand, and left the shop, mulling over what Mr. Ollivander had said, as he headed to purchase the rest of what would be needed for the start of the school year.
