Eevee stepped into the Magical Menagerie and was welcomed by the calls of an assortment of magical creatures. Berek took off from her shoulder and flitted all over the store, mocking the owls that had the look to kill in their eyes. A handsome tawny owl took a n** at him, but Berek was too quick for him. "Quit it, Berek, you'll get us both in trouble..."
Berek obeyed and hovered towards the counter. Eevee approached as well. "You wouldn't happen to have any tea leaves or wing cleaner, would you?" she asked. The cashier told her she should visit the apothecary shop for tea leaves, but she did however have some pixie wing cleanser in her store. She produced a bottle from beneath the counter and handed it to Eevee. As she rang up the price, she asked Eevee, "So what's this fella's name?"
"Berek!" piped Berek loudly. "Oh yes you are," chimed the cashier, chuckling a bit at Berek's enthusiasm. "Well there you are, dear," the cashier said returning to Eevee. "Thank you kindly, ma'am," Eevee replied. "Come on, Berek, we need to go pick up our things and get some tea leaves for you. Then we have to meet mum and dad at the train." Eevee turned to walk out the door and Berek landed softly on her shoulder. "Oh wait, we still need to go to the Quidditch Supplies store! I think I'll just get a broom care kit and fix up my Cleansweep, rather than buy a new one."
