Although I am a Lutheran (Part of a Christian branch of protestants), I have seem to have wonders of the Bible. I went to church on Sunday and m youth group was reading the Bible. While they were reading, I began to get bored (like always) and start to flip to random pages of the Bible.
I have found contradictions. Can you list some contradictions for me? Do you have an explanation for some of the contridictions?
Some I found on Sunday.
When Jesus was born, how many wisemen were there?
Your answer: 3, each bring a gift, right?
WRONG!!! The bible has never said how many wiseen they are.
If you see the Nativity plays, the wisemen brought Jesus 3 gifts when he was born. ALSO WRONG! The Bible tells us that the wisemen gave Jesus the gifts when Jesus was a toddler.
God can do anything, right?
If God hates sin, cant he just kill Satan?
God knows everything, right?
If he knew Adam and Eve would eat the bad apple, why couldnt he tell the snake to just get the hell outta here?
God always preformed miracles in the old days, why not in here?
God made the world in 7 days, right?
What about the Big Bang?

JOHN 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
GEN 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
GEN 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
GEN 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
GEN 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
And the ones I have solved.
GEN 7:2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. This is Moses
GEN 7:8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, GEN 7:9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. Noah's Ark

Yes, people do say that god can do anything, but I know something he can't do!
He can't commit suicide.
And, if God is all knowing and knows what we do and has a plan instore for us, why is there the ten commandments? He already knows whats gonna happen anyways.

It's not so much that God doesn't know what's going to happen, it's more along the lines of we've been given free will.
He could have seen that Eve was going to accept the fruit from Satan, but instead of taking away her free will to choose, he let the serpent stay.
People assume that there were 3 wisemen and that they all gave Jesus presents after he was born but they also assume that Jesus looks Roman and that he was born in Christmas. But their assumptions doesn't make the Bible itself contradict. (Not saying it doesn't contradict itself, it does.)
God can kill Satan and eventually will. (Or maybe not, maybe there are Gods above our God and maybe death is impossible after death.) But to do so now would take away free will.
Miracles back then can be explained through weather and natural phenomenon. That doesn't make them any less miraculous. However, the population today is too big for miracles of the extent that were performed back then. The miracles that were performed back then would kill many people and wouldn't be seen as a miracle.
Most people think that the world being made in 7 days is more of a metaphor for years, whether it's 7 years, 700 hundred years, or 700,000,000. It's really just to establish the calender.
Exodus is Old Testament, Romans is New Testament. The Old Testament is pretty Fire and Brimstone but the New Testament is more about Love and Forgiveness. Not only that, but when quoting verses you need to make sure you read 7 verses ahead and 7 verses afterwards. Many verses can look like they mean one thing, when really they mean another, when they're out of context.
The relationship between Jesus, Father, and Holy Ghost are pretty confusing for a lot of people. In reality they're all one in the same spiritually but when it comes to their person the Father is greater than Jesus.

But their assumptions doesn't make the Bible itself contradict. (Not saying it doesn't contradict itself, it does.) Quote: it says excatly in the bible dat the wiseman/men gave the gifts to jesus when he was a toddler, not when he was born he was acutally born somerwhere in the summer most ppl think jesus is white skinned becuz, europe in the days where white and thought jesus was just like them but, if jesus lived in middle east, his skin will be brownish-darkish

Well that's where philosophy comes into play. When Cain was sent away from his family he went to live with other people. But Adam and Even hadn't had other kids yet, if they were the first people on Earth who would he join? Also, if God was the only God why would he be a jealous God? Don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian, but I don't think God is the end. Just the end of this world.

GOd isnt jeslous, he wants everyone to go to heaven, but if u worship fake gods/idol, you dun go to heaven.
