Heee hee hee, my mom has no idea how to block stuff twisted And even if she did, I'd block it. But seriously, I feel your pain. I mean, why is my mom always asking me if I look up porn?
Ritzy's mom: Ritzy, are you on porn?
Me: stare Mom, I'm on Myspace
Ritzy's mom: You better not be putting your pic up there
Me: *Minimizie pic of self* Nope twisted
One time she signed on to myspace and then found out she couldn't get on mine cause mine was on private. so I got an e-mail from her
Ritzy's mom: RITZY ADD ME AS A FRIEND!!!
Ritzy: NEVER!!!!!! talk2hand

My parents are pretty much laid back about what I watch / like / do online / etcetera. Both of them are mild Doctor Who fans (my mom moreso than my dad), and generally they understand that once I'm mildly to severely obsessed with a show, there's no living with me if I don't get to see it.
See, I think the reason they trust me is because initially they (well, I say they - I really mean my mom) were freakishly overprotective. Combined with that, I was homeschooled almost my entire life, didn't have TV (our antenna fell off the house in a storm when I was four, so the two channels we did get we no longer got) until I was like fifteen, and generally am the "good child" of the family.
So, um, they don't think I'll ever do anything "bad" ever in the history of my life. Which I don't, honestly, so ...it works out good. :} Worst thing I do is not-doing things they want me to do, haha.
And, like, both my parents have MySpace, and are on my friends' list. I'm perfectly okay with that, as I have nothing to hide. <3
But, dude, if in some parallel world they did try to take DW away? I'd die. And then come back as a zombie to terrorize the neighborhood until I could have it back. Or something equally dramatic and possibly less impossible.

I'm a Doctor fangirl, not just a David Tennent one. biggrin And my parents totally understand that I have "needs" as long as I don't do stuff like that when they're around.
