Well I wrote this not too long ago for a friend and although its short I believe the message in it is a good one
Free Falling
Betraying your own heart is better than facing the truth,
Its easier to fake than to be comfortable in your own skin,
To follow the stream instead of fighting it,
To stay back and not take the fall,
but think of this....Is it worth it?
To spend a lifetime depending on the strings of society to pull on you,
To have "safety" instead of taking the plunge,
Is it truly what you want?
When god created you he saw beauty in even your mistakes,
So why correct something you are loved for?
Why not free fall with god and for once in your life fell free at last?
Instead of opening your heart to get crushed by rejection,
Why not keep in safe where god knows it is your heart and not a copy,
To free fall...is to take a chance,
To trust is to never regret,
To have faith is to open your arms and accept the beautiful reality that indeed you are unique.

I enjoyed reading your poem very much. It would be a little easier to read if it were broken up into stanzas.
