ImShizzle Mr. Puppet ImShizzle Mr. Puppet The Aztecs Similarities can be seen between the Polynesian beliefs described above and the beliefs of the Aztecs. A priest would deliver a formalized speech over the newly dead person, following a ritual to ease their path to the next level of existence. Water was trickled onto the head as during a baptism, and words of mourning pronounced. Papers were laid on the corpse which were intended to aid the person to pass through the hazardous journey they faced. The perils ahead included mountains, deserts, confrontations with serpent and lizards, and a place where the wind would drive with obsidian knives. Once the person had overcome the perils of the Underworld Way, the soul would arrive before Miclantecutli, where it would stay for four years. The final stage required the help of the man's dog, sacrificed at his death, to travel across the Ninefold Stream, and then hound and master, to enter the eternal house of the dead, Chicomemictlan. I learnt about that stuff in World Geography. Cool. I'm big on the Aztecs. I read over 1000 pages of s**t on them. Damn, that's a lot.Except, just all these beliefs in general, where the hell do we get them from? Serio, I be wonderin that too. But I guess there ain't no way to find out so ******** it right? I like Aztec "Mythology" cuz that s**t gets a mutha ******** thinkin. So many special Gods and traditions makes me wish I lived back in the Aztecs good times....

Mike-Jayz you all know how to ******** wit a ***** faith in god lol What can I tell ya, haven't really believed in him since I was about 13. The majority of people who believe in God today only believe in him because that's how they were raised. If you were born in family w/ no beliefs and you saw one of those religious commercial, you'd ROFL up in down. This is how I see religion, fruit for the fruitless. It's for people who have no faith in themselves, so what faith they do have is put into mythical being(s) that "created" all you see around you. Basically, God is the concept of Santa Claus meant for adults as well as their children. I don't mean to rag on ANYONE's religion, but it seems like a waste of time and money... the ONLY good thing religion gives back is a better community.

In my opinion or belief, People who dont believe in God had some sort of problem where they think God should have prevented. I been in some s**t and luck wasnt the only thing that got me out of that. someone had to be watching over me. I wasnt raised in Church at all. I havnt been to church since i think 2003. for Easter. And i still Believe in God! Not trying to offend anybody or nothing like that. im just Saying how i feel.

At 9 years old when my mom was murdered I became Agnostic. Then at about 13 years old when my grandparents and uncle died I became Atheist. My reason was stupid then, but my reasoning for staying Atheist has really changed when I got into Physics back in 11th grade. Anyways, you DO have a point. Most people who are Atheist were once Christian, but converted after a life-changing event. But the same can be said about some Christians.

I never lost nobody that close to me. I cant imagine that. But i dont even Like Religion, sometimes i think because theres so many religions. that all are wrong. I believe in certain things that are spread throughout religions. i just believe in a higher power.and everything in the Bible, which i need to read way more. i jst read the end.

...Die like the rest. The original mexica did come from aztlan... They were disbanded because they wanted to worship a different god (Huitzilopotchli) as their main god.
