well from the look of them i'd think they'd play like paul reed smith guitars.

and paul reeds play like les paul's do but there a little lighter.

Don't have a schecter, but i've played a dam 6,
they're fairly comfortable and the frets are about the pefrfect size,
best to get your hands on a floyd rose model of them, they hold tune alot better surprisingly

nah actualy schecters are designed as heavy rock/metal guitars, i wouldnt really reccomend a schecter guitar as rythem guitar or anything chordal or strangly even fasty. Tapping is a know. They do have great tone and if the proper pedals/effects are being used they do make good blues guitars. They make great basses, i would highly recomend the basses. I own a Stillehto Schecter bass and i borrowed a friends Schecter Guitar for one of our shorter tours, it sat around for most of our songs just because I had trouble fitting its tone into our songs. And most of there models don't differ very much either. They produce a short range of guitars but i expect they will make several more models. Like PRS they are an evolving guitar company and they are still working out exactly all the little details. I would reccomend Schecter guitars to begginers and experts but if your looking for metal riffs that exceed drop d then go for an Ibanez or an ESP.
