Robyn sighed, sitting down on the back porch. The female was trying to recover from her most recent heart break, it wasn't going well.. She had managed to fall so many times while walking alone that she needed to go get stitches at least twice already. Something told her that she'd fall if she moved again and thusly she planted her blue and green bum on the porch until someone either got her or she couldn't stand being hungry any longer and had to move.
"This is just brilliant.." Robyn muttered, digging her head between her knees. She wasn't strong enough to stop herself from getting depressed right now.. Two in a row.. Not even a relationship. The dog was starting to think she wasn't meant for love.

Though there was nothing really special about the soft-hearted canine male along the street a ways, there seemed to be something in the air, that day. Perhaps a sense of right; a stroke of luck. The sways of his platinum blond locks seemed to defy gravity as always, but his head was held somewhat higher than usual, and he focused on the horizon, instead of the ground.
Since gaining some measure of friends, the striped one had gained more confidence, despite his inability to really approach many men. He was... very shy around them, and so, hadn't found one he could terribly trust, or become close to. Thus, his search seemed to continue.
Single and somewhat depressed about it, he continued along the road; one plodded step after the other.

Her ear twitched, hearing another. Quickly standing up to hide Robyn looked around, wary of any who might be in the area. This was her pity party, no crashers.
"H-hello?" She called, mentally saying screw it. A distraction would be good for her right now. "Who's there?" Robyn didn't sound desperate or mean, just worried that he might be a bad person.

In his paces, the canine one looked up and away from his focus, turning toward where he'd heard the sound. His head of platinum turned, and his auburn eyes focused, in the distance, upon a strange figure; one blue-and-green, beyond his current reach.
"Hmm?" he asked, looking upon the female who'd addressed him. His head tilted, and he tried to focus more clearly, but she was farther than he'd thought, and he had to approach.

A heightened sense of hearing and smell caused her to walk forward. Curious as to who the new one was. At first glance she assumed he was a female, a closer look told her otherwise. No use.. She had to get closer still. In her attempt at getting closer to him Robyn managed to trip over her own feet, falling flat on her face.
"Ow.." She sighed, sitting up to rub the sore nose she had just gotten. At least there was no blood. "gotta stop doing that.." The dog muttered to herself, closing her eyes. Quickly standing up so as to not look horribly ungraceful, Robyn tripped again, this time landing on her bum. Not a good day for standing.

The blond male continued onward until he saw her moving, as well--but something kept him going. If nothing else, he was still curious, and he wasn't incredibly attracted to girls, but he always liked making new friends.
However, when she hit the ground and he heard a low mutter, he recoiled a little from surprise, hurrying himself over until he came close enough to see her fall again, this time in much more detail than his poor canine eyes would allow. This time, though, he'd come near enough to offer a hand, and did so; always the gentleman.
"Are you alright... miss?"

Robyn blinked, looking up at him. "Yeah.. I just fell down again." She smiled, accepting his hand as she stood up.
"Thanks." The female tilted her head as she smiled at him. Oddly trusting of this one. "Not many like to help a clutz like me cause I fall so much." Robyn giggled a bit, somehow already wishing she could go hide in a hole behind the house.

The rather tall male seemed to smile a little, almost in an assuring sort of way. "Oh... you... fall a lot?" he asked, not quite clear as to why someone would be subject to such an odd sort of misfortune.
"I... like to help people," he assured, still smiling a little as she got to her feet. "In fact... my friend, Shiro, is very nice... so I know I always have... someone to go to... if I'm in need of favors." He chuckled a little nervously. "My... I've... never known myself... to talk so much."

"I'm clumsy." She rubbed her neck, a bit of a sweat drop moment. "Trip over my own feet if there's nothing else to trip over." The female giggled.
The smile returned to her face as he spoke, watching him closely. "You should talk more if this is how you talk. It's cute." Did those words just fall out of her mouth? Oh no, mental panic now. She wasn't supposed to think someone else was cute, she was still heart broken over the second loss, this wasn't the time to be setting herself up for another one.

A fervid blush seemed to spread across the blond male's face when he heard the female's words. No one had ever really said anything like that to him, and he didn't quite know how to react.
"Umm... I... eh..." He staggered, even if only to try to fill in the empty space with something. Much as he tried, though, he couldn't seem to find words. Instead, he merely cleared his throat. "Sorry... I... don't quite know... what to say."

Her eyes grew wide, she had done it to him too. At least she was assured that her mind wasn't the only one trying to figure out what to say.
"Sorry.. I don't know what to say either.." her head drooped some, a sigh escaping her lips. "I didn't mean to make you blush either." Robyn looked up at him, blushing lightly herself.

The young male didn't seem to know how to answer, but he certainly knew that he didn't want to make the other canine sad. "Umm... if I might ask... what's your name?" Though he wanted the conversation to continue, he was simply a shy person, and didn't do well with small-talk.
