 Talon sighed softly in boredom as she flipped through the pages of a magazine, not really taking any of it in. With an irritated pout she slapped the thing down on the table and got up with a stretch, hawk wings stretching out as well before fluttering back against her back. She was bored and she felt so shut in, she just wanted to find something to do.
She glanced out the window to the blue skies, just slightly cloudy. Maybe a good go through the air would help her calm down some... Maybe... It was worth a shot anyways. That in mind she got up from the main shop couch and started to head out.

 In another room not far from the door she had turned on the television, setting up the game with the dance pad. She gave it a light poke before standing on the center between all of the arrows, selecting one of her favorite songs before starting. She was, if anything, getting a bit better at it... She could move her feet a bit faster now, at least.

The sound of music caught Talon's attention, peering curiously into the room it was coming from. She usually wasn't this nosey, but she had never heard music quite like it before, having steered clear of all arcades most of her life.
She just stood, watching there for a moment, then smiled in amusement. "Do people really dance like that?"

"Oh, huh?" She turned to look missing her stepping only to land in a heap on the pad, the words "FAIL" coming up on the screen. Her nose wrinkled as she hit a button to clear that before looking at the other Audio. "Some people... Sometimes, maybe? When they're playing games for fun or listening to bouncy music."

She couldn't help but laugh softly that she distracted the other girl to lose her game, though she hadn't been trying to be cruel. She walked further into the game. "It looks like fun, but really... If anyone danced like that on a normal dance four people would probably think they're odd... What is this game anyways?"

"Dance Dance Revolution. There are a whole bunch of them... Some have different songs and they all have the most interesting characters..." She'd started playing not long after running into another Audio who had introduced her to it. "The music is amazing... Even if it's not how you would normally dance."

"Oh, that game! There's so many dancing games I couldn't be sure which one it was." Talon tilted her head to the side, looking mildly curious. "I don't think I'd be good at that type of game at all. I'm not even that good at regular dancing." she said in amusement. "I'm Talon, by the way."

"Roxette." She smiled brightly as she stood up, holding her hand out to the other female. "You can call me Roxy though... And it's really not that hard if you start out on easy. I can change it and let you pick out a song if you'd like to give it a whirl."

"Roxy," Talon took the hand and gave it a light shake. She nodded, looking from the screen to the dance pad. "Well I was looking for something to do. Not going to question fate. It couldn't hurt to at least try once." She got onto the dance pad, looking at the screen. "Okay, how do I start?"

"Stand in the middle... Then you use that arrow." She nudged one carefully with her foot. "To move the wheel with all the songs. When you find one you like you hit that button... Then you just have to hit the right arrow when it gets up to the top." She nodded as if that made perfect sense.

"I suppose..." Talon raised an eyebrow, but did as instructed, listening to the preview of each song. After a long moment she sighed, smiling softly in amusement. "All the songs I seem to like the most are the harder ones... ah well..." She chose an easier song and selected it.
It became obvious right away that she wasn't lying about not being a good dancer. She had the speed and the grace, her wings serving as a good balance as they flapped a little to speed up her next move, but she lacked coordination, constantly forgetting which arrow she was supposed to hit.

"That's usually the way it works, for some reason... But once you get used to it they're fun." She nodded, smiling as she stepped back to watch the other female. Her smiled only seemed to brighten by the end of the song. "You're doing pretty good! Better than my first time."

Talon actually laughed softly at that, "Well that's because you don't have wings to propel you to your next step. It's a quick fix if you make a wrong move." She hummed as she finished the song, "But I guess that's a bit like cheating, isn't it?"
