The unusual mixture of warmth and sorrow in his deep brown can't even begin to provide a window to his mysterious past. Walking around with his head hung and speaking no more than necessary he'd be sooner mistaken to be suicidal. Seth has an awkward crooked smile, it's not in his nature to be smiling too much. Calm, gentlemanly and loyal, Seth Sterling is not one to leave a debt unpaid. Always giving in exchange to what he received Seth almost makes it hard for other to approach him. He confides his life in two close friends, Min and AJ. Although most at his school regard him as being quite alien none can deny the fact that he's not such a bad guy. Most would say they couldn't recall his voice, for he hardly spoke. Seth speaks no more than needed and only to his small exclusive group of friends. Finding it hard to open up to most, quiet Seth Sterling struggles with himself as he tries to lead the group alongside the dynamic Sara May.

For reasons unknown Daniel Meyer has been making relentless attempts to provoke Seth since the seventh grade. As that did not work, he has stooped to starting fistfights with him. In six years Seth has never lost and it was a wonder if Dan could even get a single scratch on him.
His independence can be, in a way, derived from his living alone. His father abandoned his mother when he learned she was pregnant. Driven from that rage and sorrow, his mother, in turn, abandoned her newborn son by plunging a knife into her chest. Soon after, he was taken in by his mother's only sister who died in a car accident when Seth was fourteen. He received all her fortune and has lived alone in a one-room apartment since her passing.
