He looked him up and down for a moment...then gave a curt nod as the branch brought him the kattana...he grabbed the blade and handed the end of the sword to the neko "Now...if you dont mind...I have to go to the next village...since I was so rudely throwen out of the last one" He gave a glare towards the direction of the little community. With out anything else to say he turned and headed through the trees.

'So he was thrown out of the last villagei wonder what he did.'He thought as he started to fallow the man yet again and returning his katana to his back. "So what happened in the last one that you got the boot?" he asked as he was beginning to get bored of the silence.

He just continued to walk...then thought about it for a moment...why did I get kicked out...he was now thinking so contently about said subject on hand that he ran into a tree. He shook his head a moment then walked around it as if nothing at all had happened...almost as if it was a natural orrcuence. "Um....I used my magic on a local" He said "Apparently they frown about those sort of things..." He said as almost an after thought. "Oh and because I am a weilder and they have issues about beings that arnt fully human running around in there villages" He said the words dripping off his tongue like venome from a snakes mouth.

He laughed when the weilder walked n to the tree and was kind of amazed that he didn't react to it. "So your not fully human..." Riku mussed tilting his head to the side the rest of his words not really making it in to his thought prosess'He looks human enough"

He shook his head..."All weilders are part deamon" He spoke quitly as they finally made it to a clearing. Judging by where they were it would talk about...half a days walk till the next village. He sighed as he turned going north now. "Why are you so content on fallowing me?" He asked after a moment...he didnt mind it...it was good to have the company but not that long ago the neko in question threatened him...so...simple enough he was curious...

he walked not so far behind the wielder "I didn't know that" he said looking around. "You Know I am not sure why I am following you" he added thoughtfully. cought so much in his thoughts he tripped on a fallen tree and landed on his face "owwie"

He gave a sigh and turned to the fallen neko. Bending down he grabbed him by the arms and lifted "Not many do" He said placing him on his feet and looked at his face to make sure no damage was done "But those who do frown upon us" With that he turned and began to walk the way that he was heading again.

"Thanks." he mumbled as he was picked up. "Well I don't see nothing wrong with that." as he now walked right beside the man. "After all as a half breed i get it all the time .." his ears drooped slightly as his voice became laced woth sadness. "But you know what! I dont let that get to me too much."

He gave the faintest hint of a smile and brushed his hand along the sadly bent back ears "I can tell" Was all he said as he drew his hand back and placed it back down beside him "So...do you have a home...or just travel" Now the simple small talk began...

He lifted an eye brow as he got petted but let it go. "A home... No I havent had a home since I was small. I tend to travel most of the time." he said playing with the hem of his sleeve. 'What about you? Though I am guessing that you travel a lot don't you?" Riku stretched his arms back they had been walking awhile now and he wanted to stop and rest.

He nodded "Never had a home...just stayed in one place for about a day or so then continued on my way...untill I met my master and he thought me about everything that I know" He gave a little shrug of his shoulders. "So...its kinda weird for me to have some one to talk to as you may tell" He then thought for a moment as he continued to walk along with out anything else he then said "But you are welcome to stay...if you like that is"

"Well even if you didnt want me to follow you I would any ways." he said in a cheeky tone as he hopped over another fallen tree. after a while of silence Riku began to hum a old tune to him self not wanting the calm of the silence to be over powered with awkwardness.

the two of them had been walking for quite some time now and it was beginning to get dark as night set in. thee trees creaked and moaned around them. Riku's eyes shifted slightly with each noise. He hated being in the trees at night, and even though he could see with out much difficulty in the diminished light he was still anxious about being with in the trees at night. He glanced at the man walking beside him then lowered his eyes to the ground. "So.. where we going to camp for the night?" he asked his voice betraying him and giving off an hint of his anxiaty.
