With the increasing amount of Failure and recent evidence that Gaia has decided that they will now suck on $cientology penises, it is more and more important members know how to use a proxy and/or Tor.

If you use FireFox, you can proxy easily enough by finding a proxy server and going into your preferences menu and finding the 'connections' submenu and using that to map your proxy server.

For Tor, use Google and you'll get all the information you need.

If you are uber elite, like me, you'll RDP into some n00bs machine and use their computer and IP to surf, like I am doing now.

Okay, fine.

First, find a proxy. You can Google for tonnes of Proxies, but here is a simple list: http://www.samair.ru/proxy/



If you run FireFox. Go to your preferences menu.

In a Mac you click on FireFox and goto Preferences or push "Apple+,"

Goto the Advanced tab.

Click on Settings...

Select Manual Proxy Configuration

If you run a PC: Goto Tools, and apply the same as above.



OR, if you don't want to go through that hassle, Google for a web proxy.

An example is: http://www.hidemyass.com/

If you wish to test, Goto http://cmyip.com with your browser before and after applying the proxy. You will see it change.
