...The week before finals and the last day of school. I have a final tomorrow gonk .....
...and my dad breaks the news that we're going camping this weekend for four days. scream I wouldn't complain, only that IT'S THE WEEK BEFORE FINALS. I would understand if it was right when school ends, but why...?
Right after school ends, we're supposed to go to New York as well. So, next week is going to be horror for me....No break....[In my eyes]
I could always say no, but that would leave me guilty... sad

Is your dad unaware that finals are next week? I dont think he'll be upset if you say you cant go camping because of finals, I think any parent would be proud to hear that. My parents would probably have a heart attack if I told them I would rather stay home and study instead of doing something fun.

How exactly does this ruin your life?
I mean, it's either, you go and don't study or you don't go and study. There shouldn't be any hurt feelings, or lives ruined.
