I've never heard of an ending....i hope it hasn't ended yet crying
They just finished vol. 5 last i heard, am i outdated?

In Japan it's still going, but I think it's going to end "soon." Naraku died recently and there was a huge plot twist, so it's really hard to tell when it's going to end.

i thought there was like 7-8 seasons or box sets so .....lets see i am up to season 4 but i have seen what i thought was the last episode where every shard was naraku's excetp one that kagome and inuyasha had and they got stuck in the things stomack and had to use it to get out and that show ended with opening for more episodes so i assumed that they would have more....unless they end it with amovie i heard maybe a 5th movie was in the process. other than that i don't know.

in japan it finnished
but in the us it still has another twenty chapters
or so i've herd
but it seems like here in the us inuyasha is going extinct... T-T
and this makes me sad...

That's why we all need to sign that petition.
The manga is over in the US and episode 167 is the last episode after 7 seasons but I have no idea what the news is in japan

ok im really confused, so that one episode(in america) that supposedly was the ending that sucked horribly cause there wasnt any end to the series wasnt the last episode?(please dont laugh i havent seen any of the japanese ones cause the only time i had time to watch them was at nite at work on adult swim) so ya if thats true i might cry joyful tears

japan is over with this series all ready and the only reason they left us hanging is because somthing happened with the actors in the series in the us. Though the episodes are incomplete and probably always will be the book is complete you can ready the ending for free on manga fox.com. there is 558 chapters and the series on the tv ends somwhere in the 300s
