Introduction
Welcome to Liberi Fatali, the guild for Final Fantasy 8 fanatics/worshippers, and role-players, lets not forget about that. Now, there are a few rules to follow when playing in Liberi Fatali. They're listed below.
Guidelines
1. You will respect the judgment calls of the GM's and Moderators without question. The judgement of the three head GM's, Chris Ganale, Nick Fall, and Dischord are to be heeded above all else. In this guild, consider them to be God.
2. You quote AMP, we laugh at you. Almost no PvP fight in Liberi does not have its outcome determined beforehand, and characters only die when it's time for them to meet their demise in the plotline.
3. Most importantly, you will play as a character that fits in the timeline of Final Fantasy 8. If you walk in here with a Gundam, or a plasma cannon, or something similarly-retarded, you will be banned without warning. And you get laughed at/ridiculed for the rest of the day, or until we find something better to laugh at. Whichever comes first.
4. There are different threads set up all for various places. Keep your posts in the threads in which they belong, or they will be deleted. If you need a thread created, or if it is a thread we no longer have, please PM a Moderator, and we will set the thread up for you.
5. Do not overpower your character.. This is strictly following the doctrines set down in FF8. ONLY Balamb Garden/SeeDs use GFs. If you are a Galbadian soldier, not only are you cannon fodder, but you are cannon fodder that lacks a GF. NO GUNBLADES. Start off only with low-level magic, and low-level weapons. If you come in with Lion Heart and Ultima and Meteor, not only will I smack your a** for using a gunblade when there should only rightfully be two PCs that use them, I will smack your a** for breaking this rule, and also ban you. KTHXBAI.
6. You can play your choice of canon or original character. There will be no argument over claimed characters. If you leave a character for more than four months without posting a reason as to why, consider your character free game for anyone else that decides they would like to claim them. This rule does not apply to original characters.
Additional Notes
Many of the RPing ideas, including the idea of characters having backup weapons, how GF junctioning works, and a certain gunslinger's different types of ammo, will be taken directly out of The Gunblade Saga novelization on fanfiction.net. To save you the trouble, I've linked to it here. - The Gunblade Saga
Concerning Characters
You can play only 1 Canon character, period, there is no exceptions to this, unless you are personally asked by a GM to take up said canon character. You can play up to 4 Original Characters. Or, 1 Canon, and 3 Originals. This limit does not apply to people who play villains who will eventually die. (Myself, The Paradox, Chris Ganale, etc) This also counts for any non-GM's who have their villains plotted out, and plan on eventually offing them. NPC's do not count at all towards characters that you actively play. If you have any questions, pm Dischord, or Chris Ganale.
Please note that this thread may be modified at any given point and time as necessary.
