My mom and I were watching 40 Greatest Metal Hits together.
And my mom's sitting on the couch, and I'm on the opposite couch,
And everyother band she might say, "Who's that?"
So, mostly, I knew 75% of everyone, and my mom was probably 40%,
And my dad walks in, watches as they go over what's already played (40 thru 20),
And he says, "I saw over half of them live in concert." And thenafter watching a segment on Alice in Chains he wonders off to the garage.
He told me a list of bands and he was like, if they're on there, come and get me.
Each band he said was somewhere in the top 15.

I still want to get a dvr recording of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey
Got bored the other night and recorded the 4 part Heavy series on VH1
Isn't that the movie that's coming out in theatres or something?
No, it was a documentary from '05 or '06 about the progression, conflicts, religious influences upon, and a few other things of Metal from the time of it's conception.
They have Deep Purple in it too.
That and Angela Gossow!! <333
