Stepping warily across the barren land, Ouka eyed the sticks that lay beneath him. Even if they meant no harm to him, they reminded him of the bones of other ulaya. He didn't know why, but they just... did.
So this is what he was doing. Trying to get away from the forest, which contained so many terrible memories. The black pelt of the male shivered slightly, fear misting his mind with horrible thoughts. Leaving wouldn't really help his disease. That was really the only reason why he stayed in the forest.
What would leaving do, it wouldn't stop his transformation, that's for sure.

Noelany again was wondering away from her father this fine evening. She usually did, which didn't please him at all. But she didn't care for his rules or what he said, just like everyone else. She never listened to anyone, thinking she was much better then everyone. She had no reason to think it, but she did. She wondered the dark forest, gloomy, and even a bit grim. She didn't mind "scary" places, she didn't frighten easily. But she did like to frighten others, if she could. Her wings would randomly stretch as she walked over twigs and leaves. It always seemed to look like she never had any control over her wings and their movement. She looked about, seeking something to bother, or mess with. She was always looking for something to bother. Though, she had seemed quite bitter recently. "What to do?" She continued to walk along.

His pace grew strangely faster as he stepped across the dead twigs, hoping to make no sound, in case another ulaya happened to be wandering by. Funny to say, he didn't really think running away from the forest was a great idea. He just thought it was a good idea, deep down that is. And though he might crash into any other creatures, he would just run.
But... what was that? "What was..." Ouka's eyes snapped to the commotion that was surrounding the trees. His paws skidded to a halt and his yellow eyes continued to look around, paranoid. Snap. A twig being snapped. Crunch. Leaves being stepped on.
"Someone's here...." He looked around once more, dodging to a nearby tree. His body turned and slid behind it, hoping the creature stalking around wouldn't find the black pelted ulaya, hiding behind a small tree.

Noelany continued walking through the forest, not caring much about what she was stepping on. She thought it was rather fun to just jump on twigs and dead leaves, because of their sound. But today she wasn't doing it purposely, she was just wondering around. She had nothing better to do, and she knew her brothers wouldn't entertain her much. So, why not look for someone else to bother?
She looked around at the trees, hoping one of the easily frightened Ulaya might be hiding somewhere. Those were probably one of the best kind of Ulaya's to find! Because all you had to do was go "BOO!" and they'd go off running. But Noelany wouldn't leave it at that, she follow them, until she got bored. Yeah, scaring people was fun.. And with a quick halt, she saw something. It wasn't moving much, but it didn't seem to be part of the tree either. Hmmm.
"And what could be behind door number one?!" She gave a smirk, hoping the other had heard her.

He froze on the spot at the voice, feeling fear drench through his features. What was he going to do? Gazing about, he sighed and lowered his ears. There was no where to hide, and at this rate it was killed or be killed. So with much dread, the male peeked his head around, staring at the female strangely. Questions roared at him, demanding an answer. He shoved himself roughly out of hiding. His paws moved and he wandered out with his ears held back, body low, afraid she might strike at him.
Gazing into her black eyes, his pale ones gleaming with pleading sorrow, he sat down and adjusted himself. It was rather awkward to be confronted by another. Ouka hadn't seen another ulaya in so long; the only time he had seen ulaya were when... "Don't hurt me." He murmured quietly, feeling guilt wash over himself as thoughts of bloody ulaya filled his mind.
"I don't... I don't..." His voice stopped. His heart beating furiously at his rib cage. He didn't want to hurt her, like he did the others. He would never forget himself for what he had done to the others. He was a monster, a monster.

Noelany watched the male as he strangely came out from behind the tree. She wasn't expecting to run into anyone today, but that was just a plus. The smirk that was placed on her face was still there. Noelany liked to play around with other Ulaya, she was mean like that. But she was dumb to mess with the unknowing and unpredictable. But the kit only became more amused as the black male seemed more and more afraid.
Looking back into the males eyes, the silence only seemed to get thicker. The smile of a crazy person soon appeared on Noelany's face. She was pretty crazy, but most of it was just he messing with other Ulaya.. I guess.. And with the words, "Don't hurt me." being said, the kit tried to hold in her laughter. Only making her look more insane then she already did. And with him not being able to let out the rest of his words, her laughter came out. But the cute and surprising laughter, but the evil and insane one. It was something that couldn't be helped. She had to scare others.
"Don't give me a reason to hurt you then." She managed to say, and continued to laugh.
