"Yeah, yeah.. Go get in the carriage." she grunted ungracefully to her servant. Being around these kind of people, people who didn't act like they were noble or regal or with sticks up their asses, brought out a different side to her personality. One that was a lot easier to relate to than her usual self. She glided swiftly past the girl and out of the castle, knowing that she would follow. Hoping she would follow. She trusted the girl. For the most part, anyway. She was prone to attempt escape, but she did have an exceedingly fiery spirit.

Zek looked out the small panes of glass that constituted for the windows of the vehicle. She watched the now grumpy Princess with a jester's grin. He was generally a happy person, but he especially liked the Princess and her personal attendant. They were a lot more lighthearted than the people he usually associated with.

Selenia saw him staring at her through the glass with that stupid grin plastered on his face. Lord knows how much I hate that man... she thought angrily, though playfully. She had never hated him. She threw out a long hand behind her, beckoning for Mikiria once more. "Come girl. We must leave as soon as possible."

Selenia boarded the carriage, positioning herself next to Mikiria, across from Zek. She herself had a bit of a smile on her thin, alabaster face. This was going to be a fun ride... The carriage-driver started the horse up and off they went, back towards the Vampiric castle. Zek's jester grin continued and it was starting to rub off on her.

He turned his attention to his subject. She had been away from the Kingdom since she had been a pre-teen. Curiosity struck him in a swift bolt. "How have they been treating you, girl?" he puzzled.

"I believe you. Selenia can actually be a nice person when she wants to." Zek added a sly wink in Mikiria's direction. He settled back into the cushions of the cabin seat. This could be a long ride if you were too impatient. Being rivals, the Wolves did not live to close to the Vampires. There would be too much chaos and both royalties knew that. They made sure to build the castles far enough away. And of course, there were general property rules to be followed.

Selenia scowled at her company. She knew that the combination of the two fun lovers would cause an issue. They would both be getting in as many " jokes" as they possibly could. Instead, she turned to a heavier topic. Have any more deaths of our people by the outside force been reported or had it been silent recently? We may have to take immediate action if more have been brought up."

"That's not good...: she trailed off. It didn't sound good. They were the most vulnerable of the Vampires and if we haven't heard from them, then that might mean that they have already been taken over. She turned her amethyst eyes downwards to the floor in concern. If she couldn't take care of them, how would she take care of her other people?

Zek contemplated this information. His whole mission had been to come with them to view the situation himself. If one had been looking into his dark, golden eyes, they could have seen the wheels turning in his brain. He didn't really know what to make of the whole thing yet. He figured that he would just wait until more was discussed between the women folk.

Not used to not being called King, it took Zek an awkward second to respond to her question. His eyes came back into focus and he looked to her. "No, I haven't. Not from the Vampires. Whatever is attacking their folk, it's not attacking ours yet. And that's the reason why you're coming to me for help, is it not?"

Selenia stared despondently at Zek. He was surely right. She wasn't sure what to do about the whole thing, though. Although.. she did have a slight idea. She proposed this to the other two: "I think that when we get back, we will propose that we take a small group of our forces and Zek with us to check on the smaller villages. Father likes Zek enough to let this happen." Actually her father was rather racist against Zek, but the King believed that he was a capable leader.
