update:i booked an appointment with a neurologist[hopefully thats the right doctor for this kinda thing] anyway in a month i will get answers [thing is from doctors point of view -well my gps gaw nearly hit the floor when i described to her what kendo was- doing this kind of thing is not 'good' for me look]. plus kendo club wont let me fully participate until they know what the doctor has said..
[maybe i just dont want to hear a doctor say i cant do kendo stare ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
when i was like 2[or some where around that age] my skull was fractured. that was 17years ago...
now i do kendo.
- and that requires strikes to the head. my parents were worried but at begininng everyone was striking me lightly[only for two trainings then it went back to usual strengh/power]-anyway i hate people going easy on me so...after 3years of doing kendo my head gets random pains in that area sad
and for the last 2months i havent trained because im not allowed to wear bogu so i cant train as hard with the others. kendo is a rather team type martial art where you need an opponent to train so im feeling like sh!t being not allowed and i dont have the time with uni lately either.
because of that stupid accident when i was a toddler am i fated to be held back from my full potential? stressed it pisses me off because when i go to nationals all the high grades and sensei from other clubs said il go to the worlds one day. and i plan to, but if i get any worse..i don't want to be held down. il find a way...but maybe if i train extremely so that i can deflect all strikes to the head and all..but that's gunna take alot of work

Is it possible for you to get some kind of special protective headgear? Like get something specially made to your specifications? Thats about the only thing I could suggest..

-the only extra protection is like an extra padding thing between the men[armour] and my tenagui[headcloth]. iv had that since i anounced to the club about it.
@jae sung- heh, its some technical term ..im not sure what shape it is or wat it looks like..though im interested to see tho. but im guessing its shaped to my skull as iv grown up, i guess but i dunno at all really.

If it's allowed, wear a piece of rubber in between the headgear and cloth Like the same material in shoe insoles. I know kids at my gym wear them in handwraps if they've got break-prone hands or have broken them before.
If you're allowed to do it, do it.
I have a feeling the pains in your head are because you got hit there. In any case, train to defend it. There are many fighters who enter the ring with injuries, especially knee and ankle injuries - but they train to avoid injuring it further
BUT it's risky

Well, go find out what it is exactly. I've known people with similar injuries, but my advice depends on what it is. Like Soul said, learn to protect it. I'm missing half of my right arm so people normally aim for my right. I've learned how to defend it to the point that it's more defend-able than my left side.

I have alot of respect for athletes like Jae Sung They officially have "disabilities", but that doesn't disable them at all, and they're just as competent as anybody else

But if it's getting sensitive to the point that you can't sleep on that side, I'd suggest maybe seeing a doctor about that. I have no idea what it could mean, but better safe than sorry right?
