Back Story.

Since the dawn of humanity, people have wondered where we came from, why are we they way we are, and how did we as a group come to be. Resent Archaeological discoveries have shown people that we may have "evolved" from primitive apes. There are many who believe this, but they are wrong. Though we are similar, there is no distinct connection between Homo-sapiens and Primates. The truth, to those that know, is much, much more devastating.

It all begins before humans, before earth, before everything, back to a time before times, a place outside of everything, a world known as Prius-quislebet. This is the dwelling of the Supernus, a being that was above all, that controlled all that is, was, and will be. Most societies on earth call it the god. But despite being immortal and with infinite power, it was never satisfied, but then a thought came to him,
If I split myself and my power, I can be more than anything! So he divided up his body and his power into different vessels, each having one specialty. For a time, all of the new Supernus lived in peace and harmony. They even combined their powers to create the universe. They all ruled over their new creation, judging what to do with it. But soon, argument broke out. The Supernus were debating on what life would be like. They all wanted it to be in their own image to glorify them selves. They fought and fought until a compromise was reached. They would each create two beings, one male and one female, they may be in whatever form they wish, but the creator must let it's creation handle it's own affairs. All agreed and the chose a small blue and green planet orbiting a yellow star midway out in it's galaxy.

All of the new beings resembled their creator. The Supernus of fire created beings of plasma. The Supernus of water made beings to inhabit the oceans. And so on until the last being was created to inhabit the planet. For many thousands of years, they watched their creations lived together. All was well on the little planet, all the new life lived together happily and without hatred. . . for the most part. . .

One race, known as Terans, had been secretly been trying to claim the world for their own. They had not been gifted with any spectacular ability, legends say of the first Terans having immense power, rivaling that of a god, but in that day and age, nobody had anything. The closest Terans had to a power is intelligence and innovation. They could make tools and weapons.Other races could conjure storms with a flick of a wrist, or make lava pour from the earth with a word, but nothing for a Teran. The despised everything else for it, and slowly, they built up an army to destroy every other being on the planet, and those that tried to stop them, would be destroyed as well. Over the years the Teran flag swooped across continents. All that was not Teran was destroyed, or so they thought.

During the war, They other creations discovered ways to hide themselves among the Terans. Their numbers were small, but enough to keep from dying out. Some of them made small rebellions but all of them were futile. As time went on, The Terans changed and forgot about their past. They didn't even remember the creatures they had despised so much, despite them living among them. It has been nearly ten thousand years since the Terans wiped the planet. The Year is Eleven Hundred. The Terans inhabit every continent but that hasn't stopped the other beings created by the Supernus. Now their numbers are formidable, and are almost ready to exact revenge on the Terans.

User Image ring A note sounded out into the town's main courtyard, ring another. soon more noted sprang fourth, then small lyre rung out with a beautiful melody, soon, people began to gather, watching the man strum solemnly at the small harp. They all stared in amazement, most had not heard music in a long time, living in a small village had the effect of isolating it's people. As the dark haired man played, people began setting small trinkets in front if him, the better dressed left coins, those who looked as if they had been underground their whole life left grain and meat, he as thankful, but it still brought no consolation to his soul, he did this to survive, not to entertain, he knew, that amoung these, their lie at least one creature who had stolen from him his happiness, they were clever, but he still played on, hoping he could spot them out. He closed his eyes and began strumming anew. This time, the notes were sharp, sticatto, ending in a point, the air began to get colder and snow seemed to fall. It was a cloudy day, as were most in the late of the year. Perfect conditions Will thought, To end a life

Rhianon Daeth walked along one of the many vendors streets that led to the central courtyard of the town that her and her siblings were staying in for the moment. Looking at the produce as she passed, she eventually stopped and picked up some apples, feeling their ripeness before placing them in her basket and paying the young man working behind the cart. As she did, she caught him staring at her with a goofy grin on his face that said he was thinking about more than just selling her apples. Rolling her eyes, she continued down the street, ignoring similar stares and losing her self in her own mind and picking up whatever fruits happened to catch her eye. After a while, her basket full with various types of fruit, the dryad turned away from the carts, and almost ran into her brother. Stopping herself before she lost the contents of her shopping basket, she glared at him for sneaking up on her, as he most undoubtedly had planned to. "You know I hate it when you do that Keman," she said, her voice sounding exasperated, tired and yet somewhat amused at the same time. She was rewarded with a grin on her twins part.

"I know, why do you think I do it?" Kemanorel Daeth looked down at his nearly identical twin. Grinning, he took the basket she thrusted into his hands and turned to walk down the street towards the main square. Their sister was supposed to be meeting them on the way back to tell them which inn they would be staying in, and hopefully with some information on performing in the town square. His sisters and he had not lived as travelers for most of their long lives without picking up some tricks to earn money. Keman sighed deeply, wrapping his arm protectively around his twin's shoulder as he came out of his thoughts and saw the stares from the Teran males. They disgusted him, each and every one that he caught staring after her. Shooting a few glares around, he was rewarded with some of them having the courtesy to look embarrassed and turn away. Those that didn't, well... he was in no position to cause a scene, and so was unable to deal with them as he wished. A nudge in the ribs from Rhia broke his train of thought and he unclenched his hands, making his face a mask of composure. He was not sure how Rhia could do it. Keep her calm like she did all the time, surrounded by the people of the very race that had made them all orphans. He stopped that thought process before it went any farther though, and looking up saw their younger sister waving at them from about half a block down the street.

((To be continued.))
((If you don't want me to use the other two siblings, let me know and I will alter my post. Oh, and as a note, all three of them look to be in their late twenty's, very early thirties))

Alexandra White Meldena Canterberry-McArthur, or as her few friends called her Val, was sitting in town, right smack in the center of town, doing her hair. People walk by on either side of her staring like she was some crazy woman. Then again if you had seen again if you had seen a relatively young girl sitting alone in the middle of town doing her hair wouldn't you have given her a weird look. However, none of that was their reasoning for staring in such a blatantly rude way. It was the color of her hair that made them stare. It was not red, nor brown, nor even blonde. In fact it was all those colors and more. Her hair was a rainbow, a vibrant show of red, oranges, yellows, greens, blues and purples. The blue was the shiniest color. It stood out for all to see.

When the girl had tied her long hair up into two pony tails on the sides of her head with a piece of straw she stood and walked over to the man playing. She hummed a little to the music and then sat down closer to him the rest of the crowd. She sat there all while he was playing and when the crowd started to thin she smiled at him.

"You do not play to entertain do you?" Her voice did not quite match her body. She was small and childish in appearance but her voice was old and mature and almost wise.

Lashana ran through the crowd towards her siblings, trying to avoid looking directly at anyone but them. Though logic told her that most of these Teran would not know what she was if she shifted right in front of them, she also guessed that they would still hunt her and her siblings down out of base fear of anything so different from them. Shaking those thoughts from her head, she smiled at her brother, slowing as she reached him.

"Got us a place to stay," she said, slightly breathless, falling in step between them, walking towards the city square. "It's not far from the center square, and we can perform there as long as we want, we just need to pay the city officials a small fee afterwards." As she finished speaking, the beautiful song of a lyre floated over the crowd's heads towards them. Tilting her head slightly to hear it better, she slowed her pace a little, focusing on the melody. It had been a while since she had heard something so beautiful, what with being on the road and all.

Looking over her shoulder, she gave the twins a half smile, "Care to take a little detour before we go to earn our money? I think any one that plays so well deserves to be seen, don't you?" After a moment, the other two nodded and Shana grinned, weaving through the crowd until she was only a few people away from the man playing, trying to see over heads. Just then, his song changed, becoming faster, the notes shorter and giving the dryad the want to dance along. But the air was getting colder and she would have sworn that there was snow coming down. Drawing close to her brother and sister, she wrapped her arms around her, keeping her body heat in.
