So the band director @ the high school decided to teach the 8th graders how to march earlier because he wont be there in the summer. It wuz so flippin awesome(sorry but i have been wanting to be in marching band forever) and i cant wait for the next year!

yeah my schools marching band is the 7th and 8th grade symohonic band in white tops and dark bottoms. sad

My school allows students to begin marching the summer after sixth grade, so long as they do summer band.
Of course, that's also why we don't score so well in contest...
Anyway, it's still awesome! I joined the summer of seventh grade, and this is my second year!
I'm super happy that you joined marching band, and I hope you continue to enjoy it in the coming years~!

My first marching band rehearsal with the high school is this Wednesday. I can't wait. =D
Though, I just found out that the person I wanted to be my section leader is now Drum Major...But he's amaaazing at the sax! D:

Nah, I'm kidding. You'll have a great time at Band camp. I've always loved it.
