So I went to the midnight showing. Wore my Indiana Jones Fedora hat and everything. I was a little worried about the movie with Harrison Ford being as old as he is, and with rumors I had heard of aliens in the movie, but the movie was actually really good. It had a lot of action like you'd expect from and Indiana Jones movie. Had a lot of the same kind of humor as the previous movies. All in all it had the same kind of feel as the rest of the series. If you liked the old Indiana Jones movies you should like this one...Lucas didn't pull another Star Wars... lol

I was going to go see it but it was raining pretty hard and we didn't want to walk to the movies in the rain.

Movies are like the most awesomest creation ever. Angelus Custos I was going to go see it but it was raining pretty hard and we didn't want to walk to the movies in the rain. Lame excuse. Should have walked in the rain. lol

Especially 'cause I usually went with Caleb, and I'd miss most of the movie, 'cause we vaguely resemble Hoovers. >.>;

Yes, but if you don't have a good theatre? We do, luckily. As my cousin from New York remarked: "Ohmigawd, it looks like Broadway in here!"
As for kissing during movies: I never did (and still don't) see the point. It's a waste of $9.50 (yeah, movies here are EXPENSIVE; weekend prices are $11.50). And, I dunno, I guess my boyfriend and I aren't particularly "demonstrative". I think I'd likely hit him over the head with something heavy if he tried to kiss me in public.

Caleb always wanted to be in the mid-section, but even if I'm not suffering from PDA I sit in the far-most back corner of a room. >.> It's my paranoia. As for paying, we always hit up the "Weekend Hits" which constituted whatever movie had come out a year before. Movie was $4, so it wasn't a bad way to waste 3 hours.

The new movie was barely awesome. It had lots of great parts, and lots of s**t parts.
Fencing on a moving car: Awesome
Tarzan Vine swinging faster than a car: Lame
but the jewel: a hardcore Communist being emotionally moved by a hive-mind society : precious!
And the lowest point: surviving a nuclear bomb...AT GROUND ZERO...by hiding in ..........a refrigerator.

mr_zoot The new movie was barely awesome. It had lots of great parts, and lots of s**t parts. Fencing on a moving car: Awesome Tarzan Vine swinging faster than a car: Lame but the jewel: a hardcore Communist being emotionally moved by a hive-mind society : precious! And the lowest point: surviving a nuclear bomb...AT GROUND ZERO...by hiding in ..........a refrigerator. Tarzan swing was a little cheesy, but other than that I thought it was awesome. He did not survive a nuclear bomb...AT GROUND ZERO...If you understood what ground zero was you would know that he would have to be directly under the explosion to be at ground zero. Seeing as how there are in fact led fridges like that in existence, and some did actually have locks like that on the door, surviving a nuclear explosion at that distance would probably be possible. I'm not so sure about the whole flying fridge thing, but thats not the point. If anything though...getting out of the fridge that close to the explosion would be more harmful than the explosion itself. I am not, however, inclined to care about your opinion, because saying that the fencing on the cars is awesome while the swinging is lame is idiotic. The fencing on the cars was just as ridiculous as the swinging, but somehow you missed that...it tells me that you like lame things, but are selective about it without good reason.

Everyone I talked to said it was good and disappointing. The only two people I know who enjoyed it are full of lose.... I still want to see it (eventually) anyway.
