I am trying to become smart, like Einstein. Can anybody explain blackbody radiation?

Einstein's quite a guy to try to match.
Anywho, blackbody radiation isn't too hard to explain.
Charged particles generate electromagnetic fields. When they accelerate, these fields change with time, which results in self-propagating distortions in the fields - i.e. radiation is emitted. So take an electron, accelerate it, and it radiates light with the energy distributed across the frequencies in a way that depends on how exactly the charges are accelerated.
Now take a substance. Since atoms are fundamentally comprised of charged entities - electrons and protons - when they're accelerated they can radiate. All substances have some thermal excitation, so when the atoms that are whizzing around collide, they clearly accelerate and consequently radiate. This radiation is called blackbody radiation and there's a little bit of energy radiated at each possible frequency.

Aw, beat me to it. =/
Anyway, it's not about matching Einstein's brain or IQ or way of thinking. Most of the things he did turned out to be based on perserverance... one of his quotes was something to the extent of, "I think and think for months and years. Ninety-nine times, the conclusion is false. The hundredth time I am right." ...Plus, he explained the telegraph in terms of cat. That's just pure awesome right there. 3nodding
