I decided to make a Harry Potter thread. Oh bby, I know.
If you have read the books, then you are in the right place! If you haven't you still are in the right place... Feel free to discuss your favorite books and movies, but place don't give away spoilers to those who haven't read the books or seen the movies. Also if you have any fan fictions or fan art you can share them with everyone else, but make sure they follow the Gaia TOS(Terms Of Service). Welp! I'm off. <3

but i do like the movies just as much.
because you get to see how it would "look" like, not just your opinion.

I apologise in advance, but JK needed a decent editor. Her writing style is juvenile and she completely destroyed several character's development simply because people like them better than they liked her whiny, angsty Harry.
All in all, I think it could have been done a lot better, and she really needed to think everything through a lot more. There's too many things that are unexplained and unsubstantiated.
But the basic premise was pretty good.

i can relate.
Some things in the end were just not mentioned.
so it seemed as if the whole time the plot was going
on and on and seemed to be rambling about the details and
also that rambling distracted the reader so it seemed as if
JK was trying to milk it for all it was worth.
but it sounds like the same thing i would do....
heheeh.

I have read all the books, and seen all the movies thus far. I very much like the last book until the Epilogue...I won't spoil it, but really JK Rowling? That's it? What an awful ending to the series. I was very disappointed with that. Sirius Black is my favorite character from the books, and my favorite book is the Prisoner of Azkaban.

They are completely over rated, I think. Honestly, how many times could someone have easily killed Harry?
