It talks about the Sozin's Comet book. Here is the theory it gives:
Quote:
Kyatto is pretty convinced that there was an animation screw-up on the Korean end of things with the finale, and that Nick firmly intended to finish up the series in April-May (Finale during May sweeps tied in with merchandising, which makes sense.) She believes it may have been a censorship issue regarding (possibly) violence in the finale that had to be cut and scenes reanimated. But she doesn't have any real proof -- just a conviction she picked up from interacting with Bryke and Nick representatives at the NYCC.
I find this plausible, but not completely convincing. A three month delay would be a HUGE M*****F***** animation problem. And I see no good reason why this couldn't have been announced at the NYCC -- "Guys, we wanted to give you the episodes, but we had an animation issue that had to be redone. We're sorry but there's no help for it." Nothing like that was said, so....we don't really know.
The lack of info is very frustrating. Perhaps once everything is actually aired we'll get the truth of the matter. *sigh*

It does make sense. The 3 months doesn't but otherwise it does. If they were going to wrap up the show in April-May. No books or DVDs would come out before they did on TV. Canada would still get a few episodes early but no spoiler DVDs and books. (Although I'm so glad Boiling Rock got out)
