Global Warming is real. However it has been occurring ever since the Ice Age stopped. Man has only been driving cars very recently. We do contribute but not nearly as much as the media makes it out to be.

No sh** it's real. Yes it has been happening since the dawn of time, it's just that us humans really really love our automobiles. And it so happens the fuel we use is fossil fuels, which when burned is converted into carbon dioxide which floats up to the atmosphere. The good news? Trees LOVE carbon dioxide and suck it up and convert it into good ol' pure oxygen. Reason why we're still alive, trees. The bad news is that humans also LOVE paper. And where does paper come from boys n' girls? TREES! Ding-ding-ding. Congratulations someone, you're driving home in a new car! The bad news? NO GAS! Petrol is killing the environment we live in. So essentially we are killing ourselves. We need a more clean n' green alternative power source. The rate at which carbon dioxide is reaching our atmosphere is at an all time high. We need a way to fix it and now.
In short, you're wrong. We are speeding up the proccess of which carbond dioxide is being brought into the atmosphere. Lemee restate, burning fossil fuels creates carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide, makes global warming. There are a couple billion people in the U.S. I'd say roughly 3/4's (give or take some) are drivers. Got that? Billions. And you fill you car up with maybe about 20-30 gallons in maybe a week, depending on your driving habits. Yeah, times 20-30 galloons times billions. C'mon calculate that? A lot huh? Now calculate the rest of the world. Germany, China, Britain, Japan, and you got one helluva problem. If you look at the statistics, the seasons and weather are fuc*** up. It was snowing mid-spring! The weather has gone from triple digits to to 70's on the west coast! There was a drought in winter! You can thank mankind. Go us.

I agree but I don't think humans are contributing to it as much as you think they are.

We are contributing to it alot! Not just automoblie's and air pollution but, we should also consider all of the chemicals that man has made! Thus we have to break down in order to recycle! Which in turn, contributes to the air pollution,...and global warming

We are speeding it up. But not enough to blame all of man kind for all of global warming.

I would stand in line for this
One "inactive" volcano produces as much "green house" gas in one day as all the vehicles on Earth running for an entire year.
Volcanoes > cars when it comes to gases.
I also have a big a** theory on this that I'm planning on using in one of my classes as a thesis paper; I'll type it out some time.

The "Al Gorian Hypothesis" in which mankind is destroying the earth through global warming, is ridiculous.
Climate changes are completely natural and have been going on since the formation of this planet.
Climate changes can occur from a number of origins. Hot-spots on the sun. The earths orbit. Volcanic activity from tectonic shifts.
There's so many explainations for it. Yes, I accept that humans contribute to global warming with pollution and other gaseous releases. But theres nothing humans can do to STOP global warming, and the fact is that if we stopped doing everything bad that we're doing that's harming the environment now, the benefits will be far outweighed by the negatives, because we wont even make a dent in the slow-down of global warming.
The fuss about humans and global warming today is just a marketing tool to sell new cars and get donations, that's my theory.
Chew on that for a while and let me know how it tastes.
