Isamie pawed the ground impatiently. Where the hell was he? Stupid Iruku, always turning up late, or even sometime, completely showing her up.
But she couldn't help but love him. After all, he had been her first friend, since birth. In fact, they were born on the same day, and so were exactly the same age. Strange that, because Iruku did seem a lot older than Isamie.
Isamie looked down, staring at the little hole she had managed to dig as she pawed away. She simply moved over a step, and started again.
After a little more waiting, she started to get angry.
Growling slightly, and started to dart about muttering through clenched jaws
"Come ON Iruku!"
He really was annoying.

Iruku yawned and padded through the underbrush, his coat was fairly dirty due to the fact that he had been living wild for the last couple of weeks, yet he was still an impressive specimen and his feline muscles rippled under his fur. He was meeting an old friend, Isamie, an was unsuprisingly late. Anything that wasn't important came as a low priority and he'd wanted to finish his meal, a couple of fish, before he had to meet her and so he'd lounged around in the sun by the river instead of hurrying to their meeting spot.
As he broke out of the edge of the forest he paused, he could see Isamie and she looked quite annoyed. She was pawing the ground angrily and skitting about; signs that she was bored of waiting and most likely in a bad mood. He chuckled softly, his laugh a deep growl in the back of his throat.. "Isamie? Looking for me?" He mocked, sitting in a patch of sunshine on the edge of the forest, his eyes alert and watching her, calculating how she'd react to his late arrival.

Isamie whipped her head around and glared at the male on the other side of the clearing. She growled rather loudly at him, then sat firmly down on the ground.
"No, of course not. Why would I be looking for you?" She said rather sarcastically, the annoyance clear in her tone.
"Iruku, this is the seventh time in a row you've let me wait over half an hour for you to decide to actually come and meet me! Do you think it's funny or something?" She yelled.
She made it apparent that she wasn't going to go to him, after all, they weren't supposed to meet at the edge of the clearing.
Which was where he happened to be.
Oh no, he was coming to her.

Iruku couldn't supres his amusement at his companion's anger. She was so easy to irritate and watching the results of his actions wind her up was just too much fun to turn down. He consdiered what to reply back to her rage and smiled maliciously when an idea came to him. "Seven times 'ey... I could've sworn it was eight..." He mused to himself, but loud enough for Isamie to hear. He smiled, baring his fangs and lurched to his feet, merandering over to where she was waiting for him.
"So dearest Isamie, how're you this fine day?" He asked in a mocking tone of voice, inspecting his claws closely instead of looking her in the face whilst he spoke. His whole body language reeked of self importance and arrogance.
