Groaning Nara knocked on the door in front of her. "Check-ups," the woman muttered to her partner behind her. "Dr. Smith is being idiotic. If they need us they know where to find us," she added. After a moment the woman knocked again harder. Surely this was the right place..

Tobi was thinking hard. His 'abilities' to melt were rather fascinating, and he was now trying to see if he could freeze by sticking his hand in the Freezer... So far, nothing interesting had happened except his fingers had gone blue with cold. He heard someone knock at the door and with a rather annoyed look on his face slowly plodded over to the door.
He paused with his hand on the door nob wondering if he heard wrong and was corrected when the door was pounded on again. Grumpily he flung the door open and snapped, "Wha- Oh... I know you... Don't I?" His anger dissapated, his experiment forgotten, all to replaced with curiosity. He knew he knew this person before him... Some how. "Uhhh... Mum's in the study, studying something useless and if you wouldn't mind coming in I can get you a drink?.. Uhh.." He flinched. Damn that law. But he knew he knew her. So she wasnt a stranger, right? He stepped aside to alow them into the house.

Nara smiled uneasily as a scroll child opened the door, though frankly she didn't have a clue as to which one it was. Maybe this checking up stuff was important. Afterall, she should get to know them.. eventually.
The boy stumbled something out and Nara nodded. She was about to answer when he invited her in for a drink. Quickly smothering a laugh, the woman nodded and replied. "Thank you, that would be very welcome. I'm Nara, who unsea--" The words cut off at the sudden thrill of itchiness that ran through her palms. Shaking her head, she'd deal with that later, Nara refocused on the boy. "Sorry, I unsealed you. This is my partner who helped."

Tobi silently went about going to the fridge and grabbing the jug of lemonade and four glasses. Placing them down on the table he said, "Mum told me about the fact I came from a scroll but she couldn't explain how. I have a lot of questions... Like why I melt all the time.. And... But... Umm..." He stared at them as he stumbled into silence. He ducked his head and said, "But you wouldn't be here for that.. Uhh... Must be here for something important." He suddenly turned away from them and started searching through the paper work on a bench behind him. Muttering to himself the whole time.
"UHUH! Found it." He spun around and placed a cylinder tube on the table. "Mum said this was important. She thought it might be another scroll." He glared at it. "It sure feels like one.. I've met other scroll children before and it feels kinda the same..." His eyes searched for a response from Nara, anxious to be proved right.

Nara hurriedly backpedaled from the table as her hands gave a huge thrum. "I think you better go get your mom.." the woman said weakly as she stuffed her hands in her pocket determinedly.

Tobi gave her a stunned look as she backed off from the table. On Nara's request to get his mum, he hurries off down the hallway saying, "I was right mum! I knew I could feel something!.... Mum?.... MUM!"
"What Tobi. You know I Asked you not to disturb me today. And what were you right about?" Kat's voice sounded irritated and rather tired.
"That scroll, mum. A lady called Nara's here with a ma--"
"Nara?!" the sound of rushing feet thudded down the hallway, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She half pleaded with Tobi as she passed him on her way into the dinning room. She gapped at Nara and the familiar male face beside her as she hurried over to them. Speechless she just rather stood there waiting for someone to say something more intelligent then the confused jumble running through her mind.

Turning her back to the table, Nara wrapped her arms around her, bouncing up and down on her feet to distract her from the unpleasant itching. Though she wasn't entirely sure what would happen if she tried to unseal a scroll with just Iian and herself, the last time she had unsealed someone or rather it unsealed itself was burned into her mind.
After a moment, Iian gestured behind her with his chin. Spinning around Nara gave a strained smile. "I.. see you found another scroll.." she offered the woman.

Kat scrubbed the palm of her hand on her face, "I thought Tobi was just kidding around..." She glanced at him and smiled, "I guess it's not to bad finding another one. Saves me having to go Adopt another animal for a while having another child in the house." She offered Nara a weak smile and a shrug. "Do you need anything? I kinda remember the what you did for Tobi... Only just. So long ago now." She reached over and tussled his white hair with a fond smile. "Sorry- Anything I can do? Or.. Get?" Kat had calmed down a bit from her hurried self. Nara seemed a bit worried so it's best not to be to over anxious or anything.... Right.

The woman attempted to smile reassuringly, but at the moment it came out more like a grimace. "Ah well. Just stand where you are." And hope for the best, the woman added silently to herself. Finally giving in to the itching she tried to scratch one palm with the other.
Nodding to Iian, Nara stepped towards the the spot she had already picked out. Far enough away from the wall and chairs that if she fainted then she wouldn't hit anything, but still in line to form a perfect iscocolese triangle.
Her hooded partner headed in the opposite direction. As soon as he stepped into position, Nara's hands began to dissolve into a green mist. It wrapped around them, tying the three together, though it never touched Tobi. The table dissappeared from view with the green mist before a heavy thump echoed through the room.
Slowly the mis recoiled, reforming into Nara's hands. A young boy with short red hair, and splotchy skin sat on top of the scroll.
Bending over and panting, Nara tried to catch her breath, and hide away the relief that everything had gone as usual.

Tobi looked curiously at each adult. They were acting weird... And now they were moving to-- Wow. Tobi stared at Nara's hands. Now -that- was cool. Why couldn't he do -that- instead of melt. His eye's bulged as the mist dissipated and there on the table was a little boy. His jaw dropped.
Kat simply nodded as she was told to stand still. She vagily remembered that they had to stand in a triangle or something like it. She shivered as the green mist coiled around, and taking deep breaths to steady herself as she heard the thump. Resisting the urge to race forward to see who- Or for the matter of scroll children- what, it was. The mist cleared and Kat's face split into a grin. A boy. Another boy- Yet distinctly opposite to what Tobi looked like. He was pale and gentle looking, this one. This one was incompletely opposite, with dark hair and skin that looked like it had a problem figuring which colour it wished to be. She walked forward and scooped the little one into her arms, "I think... I think your name's Matt. It seems to suit you." Her smile broadened.
Remembering that Nara and the other gentleman were still here she blushed and looked over to them. "Nara? Are.. Are you ok?" Quickly placing the child in Tobi's non-resisting arms she rushed over to try place a seat behind Nara, "Do you want a drink of anything? Need something to eat?" She asked trying not to fuss over her.
Tobi just stood there staring at the child in his arms. Confused at what to do now. It had been a long time since he had held anything so small. Scared of dropping him, Tobi stood like a statue mouth half open as the child squirmed around trying to get comfortable in Tobi's squishy arms.
