I"m sooo excited. our season starts may 26th...actually our first practice is the 21st. they're going to train the newbies, and on the 26th we have a parade and announce the drum majors for the upcoming season. We are doing the Beatles this year. But our BD arranged it. Our BD is too nice so she's letting the color gaurd directors be in charge of us this year. It's going to be extremely painful. they are really really strict. But I say it's about time we get like all the other bands that have band camp for like a month and all day instead of 5 days for 5 hours. As for the battle of the drum majors? Auditions are going to be epic this year. Most of our band is made up of sophmore that are going to be juniors most of them are auditioning. there are also some JRs that are really good leaders that are auditionining. We have like 30 people. And they're all friends. But a lot of them are flautists too...and....that section...omg it's like....ok. I"ll put it this way. Last year our BD made the entire section section leader because she didn't want people to die. O_O
