For my Religious Studies homework I have to make a poster on a war. I was assigned the Crusades.
I need to answer these questions:
Who was involved? What caused the war? What methods of fighting were going on? What weaponry was used? What was the extent of the casualties? What was the aftermath?
Then I have to consider the background to the war, if it complied with each of the Just War Rules and then say whether it was a justified war or not.
I've looked on the internet and struggled to find any comprehensible information. So I was wondering if anyone could help me out?

Free advice: Go to the library and look in books. Books are generally more reliable than most of the information found on the internet anyway. This could be an interesting discussion to hold in this guild, certainly - but (and I mean no offence) we aren't here to do your homework for you. Bring some of this information you've found and put it on the table here and we can all discuss it.

Either look it up online or go to the Library, since I don't know a whole lot about the Crusades.
All I know is that there were 9 Crusades, a number of different sides fought for various reasons (not all of them wanted to reclaim the Holy Land) and that they were fought off and on between 1095 and 1270 CE
Daffodil does have a point. Do some research, post what you learn and start a discussion on it. If not, I'll put it up sometime soon.
