Alright, so the story up till now is...

Lilith, Dantes sister, is bent on either scaring Sirena, Dantes mate, out of the family or killing her if she does not leave, she doesnt think Sirena, a non magical earth pony, should be with Dante who is a magical earth pony and so she wishes her to be gone from the family. To do this she used Requiem, Dantes son, to minipulate into killing Sirena for him, potions and spells were used, even forbidden ones, one such spell was the spell that killed Requiem slowly if he didnt go through with killing sirena.

So since Sirena is not killed, he has been checked over by Wicca, Covens mother, and all spells that were placed on him have been taken off, acept for the spell that is killing Requiem slowy because of how hard it is to detect it, even harder to remove if you did detect it. So Salem, having interogated his sister, injuring her in the process, he has finally gotten out of her the spells that she used on him, finding out about this spell sent him into a worse state.

But as a father he has to protect his children even if it is at the cost of his own life, so he has been locked up in the libaray for weeks on end, trying to find a way to get rid of the spell that will save his sons life. However, he has found a way, two in fact, though which ever one he picks will mean death to himself, one of the ways with far more dire consequences then the other even after hes dead.

And this is where the story begins...

For weeks now, Dante had not stepped one foot out of the library, his food was brought to him by one of the servents, the was kept locked other then that and going to Solstice, he was wanting to be alone, noone to bother him. Some of the books were very old and very ancient, to read them you needed a good grasp of ancient latin and even then sometimes that wasnt enough. He had learnt alot when he was in Solstice and yet, even now, he wasnt entierly sure if that was enough and so, he also had been popping back and forth to Solstice when the time suited him for help.

Other people there looked at him strangely when he asked about the forbbiden magic, noone dare touched that magic, some of it was cursed and to lift the magic would mean dire consequences for whoever tried. But he knew this but he wasnt about to leave his son to die and so he needed to find a way and fast to lift this spell, he had not slept for days but a magic spell helped him stay awake so he could do this.

Dante mumbled a spell and a portal appeared, he stuck two books into the bag around his neck and walked through it yet again, leading him to Solstice, one of the main citys that helped make up the magical world. He closed the portal and looked around the streets, trying to remember where he went to last, remembering seconds later he pulled out a list and magically crossed off the store.

"Another shop, lets see" he said as wondered what one to go to, he randomly picked one, one called Old Black Magic, noneof the other dark magic stores have helped him yet, he was hoping this one would, they were meant t specialise in ancient scripts, lets hope they could help him. He started down the path that would leave him to the store, nodding and smiling hi to the ponys he knew as he went on his way.

"Dante!" A friendly voice called out as she made her way over to her old friend "Dante, how have you been? Its amazing, we are in the same herd and yet these days, we hardly see each other" she said giggling as she nuzzled him.

"Frostbite, wow, you look GREAT!" He said nuzzling his friend back before looking down at the children "and these must be yours" he said smiling at them all.

"Yes, they are, but you know Lemonade, everyone in the herd does, given her talent for making ice cream, the herd loves her and her talent, she gets on with everyone" she giggled as she nuzzled her daughter. "The other three are as follows, Winter" she said gesturing towards her yearling fairy son "Snow" she gestured towads her fairy daughter "and Crystal" she said gesturing towards her other daughter. "Jack is around here somewhere, not entierly sure where though, he said something about having business to do at some shop, should only take five minutes and then we can go to the magical carnival thats here on the outskirts of town.

It's the childrens first time here but I thought that they might enjoy a day out, seeing the sights of Solstice and going to the carnival, get something to eat, just make a day of it, a nice family outing. I have even talked my parents to come with us, this should be fun" She said as she looked down at her children "anyway, before I talk to much, darlings, this is Dante, an old friend of mommys, he is the one who brought her to Dream Valley in the first place."

The children looked up at Dante and smiled "its a pleasure to meet you sir" they said politely and in perfect unison .

"Its a pleasure to meet all of you as well" he said smiling at them before looking up at Frost "they are beautiful, they are more polite then you were when you first came to Dream Valley, you have changed" he teased his friend.

"Well, what can I say? I have to be a good role model even if it kills me" she giggled before nuzzling her children one by one "anyway, what brings you here?" She asked curiously.

Dantes smile went and he sighed sadly "my son, as you know Lilith has it in for my mate, this time she used our son to try and kill Sirena, long story short, one of the spells placed on her was a fobidden spell, hard to detect and even harder to remove once you did detect it. Anyway, if left, it will slowly kill him, from what I have heard from her, she placed it on him incase he didnt go through with it and she couldnt kill him herself.

This spell, over a certain period of time, which she never told me how long, he will die a slow death, sometimes even painful, I am looking for a way to break this spell but given it is a very old spell and that its forbidden, it is hard to find a counter spell or potion for it. I am hoping that a store here might be able to help, if not, I might have to go to the next city over, either way, if what im reading is right, it doesnt look good" he sighed as he trailed off.
