Dardanos scoffed to the side with a swish of his tails. "I knoooow that already. Though my own hearing isssn't too well. How about yoursss?" Bony brows quirked to her next little advice. "Sixth sssensse? Is that what these are, then?" He waved his back tentacles with a whipping sound so she'd know what he was speaking of. So what were his senses telling him of this stranger. Was that why he knew she was an adult?

"Sixth senssss is a bit unexplainable." Asaji explained, swishing her tails about. Her own tentacles responded to Dardanos's. "It means that you can tell some thingsssss... without seeing via sight... sound... touch... taste... sssscent... Those kind of thingssss.. I can hear very well."
She wondered what he could tell using his sixth sense or his other senses.

"I.....see. Well not really." The male huffed his nostrils before yawning widely. "But all I can tell right now is that I am tired. Nothing of you or any othersss sitting around usss unknown." Dardanos ground his horns against the dirt and rocks to emphasis his mood. "And my jointsss ache, like they are being ssstretched."

"It isssss likely because you just grew.... Growing pains, and the curse of being a creature assss we are." she said softly, making herself comfortable. She knew there were no other creatures nearby right then, and she was at ease with another of her kind there. "Nothing more.... But it will pass in time. And you will grow ussssse to it."

"Nnnngh." Growing pains then? This was a first his body actually protested any such thing. He shrugged it off, thinking it to pass soon enough on its own time. Just like the adult mentioned. He felt her shuffling nearby, then a stillness that revealed her relaxing. She wasn't gone, he could still smell and hear her. His spines reached out once againto try and feel the other. To get an idea of just what their 'curse' formed as.

"Hmmm... What are you doing young one?" Asaji asked, grinning a bit. She knew very well what he was doing. He was seeking her out, wondering about her and them as a species. They were so different from the others that were out there. She knew as she could sense it. And she didn't like some of them. But for the strangest reasons, that she couldn't even place.

"What doesss it matter to you?" Finally his vines made reach, and they coiled firmly over her ear. It felt furry, like his own...but that could easily been the same as a normal. So he continued investigating and dragged his tentacles to her bony muzzle. That too was like his, sharp with chipped fangs and he could even feel the stitchings right above that.
"Hn." Dardanos pulled away and sat languidly, chomping on his slug snack.

"I'm amusssed. What can I say?" Asaji said with a chuckle. She felt his investigation and was cautious not to chomp down on his tentacles when he went over her muzzle. Wouldn't be very nice to take a bite out of a new acquaintance.
"Good munching?" she asked, thinking she might go off to hunt for herself soon. It had been a while since she had eaten.

"Indeed." Amazing how amused the blind folk could be, eh? Dardanos twisted his taste buds around the intestine, as if considering if it was a good munching. "It's nothing but meager snacking." But his tummy was still small, so it wasn't too big an issue yet. Just imagine an adult's appetite. And that made him chomp in pause, turning to the other kitsu. "I don't plan on sharing it...and even if I did, it wouldn't be a worthy meal." Just in case she had any thought to snatching his snack.
