You have to watch ''em like 3 times to truly appreciate them, but they are well worth the confused look that will be on your face.

Bob Dylan: The Film
Aired on PBS in September and the DVD came out. I picked it up and the Bonus stuff is excellent. Guys, believe me, it's GREAT! But then again my favorite director, Martin Scorsese, directed it. Anyways, for the Dylan fans out there, this is a must-have.

There was recently a Bob Dylan two-part TV bio thing on. Pretty excellent. Turned my friend into a humungo Dylan fan.
Just introduced my friend to Detroit Rock City. She has a friend named Jeremiah who she now calls Jam. Most excellent.

I bought my dad "The Wall" for christmas, and we watched it, and I liked it so much I ordered myself a copy off amazon.com so I can have it down at school. My roomie bought 'Dazed and Confused' and we watched it together and I really liked it! The soundtrack was pretty good too. Earlier this week, was the first time (i'm embarrased and sad to admit) that I saw Forrest Gump. I had seen parts of it before, but anyways, there was not a single song on that soundtrack that I did not love! My roomie also has The Doors but it's still in its plastic wrap and I don't want to ask her about it because that would be weird, for me at least. "Waynes World 2" was on comedy central one afternoon and I only got to see part of it. sad Oh and for other movies I've seen, I saw the Beatles films when I was really little with my dad because he had them on tape. I wonder where they are now...
Neil Young documentary/doc type thingy--Heart of Gold--has come out already in some cities, at only certain theaters. It's still opening up at some other places in the near future. It's coming for me next week, so I'll have to find someone to take me to it. Anyone else seen it yet?

Jocko Homo Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones The Doors with Val Kilmer The Doors with Val Kilmer was a total piece of s**t, I mean, it had it's good times with the actual facts and such, but a lot of it was crap, and the portrayal of Jim was awful, he wasn't drunk and/or stoned all the time in real life, although he did have his good days..... But yeah, I'm gonna have to give that movie a 4/10
